t w o | the boys

after a sleepless night due to the extreme time change, you found yourself groggy the next day. you pulled yourself out of bed and decided to sleep it off starting tonight. you felt yourself becoming anxious as your mind wandered to the thought of starting at a new school the next day.

you aimlessly wandered down to the kitchen to grab some food, and found the rest of your family struggling with a similar problem as you. everyone's eyes were drained of life and they all carried themselves weakly. you stifled laughter as you buttered a few pieces of toast and quickly ate them.

"i cannot wait to sleep tonight." b/n thought aloud.

"you can say that again." s/n agreed. (agreed. -tommyinnit)

you brushed your teeth and changed into some comfortable athletic wear and decided to go for a morning run to wake yourself up a bit. you walked out the door, slipped your airpods in and turned on your playlist and began a light jog, starting off past the house next door. suddenly, you heard loud noises coming from behind the house. intrigued, you decided to check what was going on.

"it's my only arrow!" you heard a slightly high, british voice yell. shortly after, you heard a lot of laughter coming from what sounded like a group of boys. you raised your eyebrows and decided that you wanted to continue your jog.

you made your way a nearby basketball court and saw a man playing basketball. you sat for a moment, tired, and got on your phone and opened instagram. the first thing you saw was a post from one of your close friends in america. it was a picture of your whole friend group on the first day of school. you covered your face with your hands and held back tears. you let the music drown out any sadness and sat and enjoyed nature for a bit. soon you saw a group of boys approaching. one appeared to be drenched in water and wearing a tight blue suit made to look like diamond armor in minecraft. (edit: i just logged back in here and wtf is x_pogboy i haven't watched tommyinnit in like a year and a half pls explain)

the boys approached the man playing basketball, who was obviously confused. one of the boys caught your eye though. he was tall and blonde and he seemed like the most energetic out of all the boys. you heard him talk to the man and quickly realized this was the same voice you heard coming from behind the neighbor's house. you thought about approaching the boys, but then decided against it as you turned around and headed home while they were distracted.

you got home and got in the shower to rinse all the sweat from the heat off of yourself. you spent a couple hours on your phone and watching netflix, mostly relaxing because you were very tired from your lack of sleep. finally you glanced at the time. 9:26. it was a little earlier than you usually go to sleep, but you were exhausted and decided to lay down. the second you closed your eyes you heard it. the laugh. your eyes shot open and you sat up in your bed in confusion. who the hell is making all that noise at this time? you rushed to your window and noticed the blonde boy from earlier sitting at his computer playing a video game. after a couple more seconds you noticed what game it was. minecraft.

"what could possibly be so funny about minecraft?" you said to yourself. you shrugged it off and laid down again. the noise continued for what seemed like ages. finally around 11 it quieted down and that's when you finally dozed off.

hiii i know this is a super short chapter again. i'm sorry! i promise i will try my best to make them longer in the future just bear with me for now. anyway thank you for almost 100 reads already! i hope you guys are enjoying this story because i really like writing it i'm just having a hard time coming up with actual coherent sentences that make sense together. i hope most of you got the reference to tommy's new video though because that was unplanned but fit with the plan for this chapter so thanks for the content tommy :)

anywayyyy ill try to update this kind of daily which shouldn't be too difficult since im doing a lot of online school. i hope you enjoy and ill hopefully have another part out tomorrow!
