As we neared my street, I watched as the lamppost in my front yard glistened against the dark night of the sky. Billy turned down the volume as he parked at the end of the street and silently turned the car off.

"Didn't want your parents to wake up to a car in the driveway and their 'grounded' daughter coming out of it." Billy emphasized as he stretched out his arms; one hand draped over my passenger seat while the other propped itself up against the window.

"Thanks." I shook my head in appreciative dismay and smiled. The bad boy just keeps getting more good... My hand brushed the wisps of blonde hair from my cheeks as I tucked it behind my ear. Struggling with how to summarize the evening, I shifted my gaze to Billy; he too, looked like he was trying to find the right words to say.

"So listen," Billy, seemingly nervous, belted out under pressure. "I don't know what the hell happened after the movies, okay?" His eyes meekly shifted down to the steering wheel before he gained confidence and once again met his eyes with mine. "But, I meant it when I said I'll help." He hesitated. "I don't want that thing to get you." Billy took his hand from the passenger headrest and gently placed it on my lap. His warm touch immediately snapped me out of the trance I was in from watching his lips. I slowly placed my hand on top of his and watched as out fingers effortlessly intertwined together atop my leg. I watched as his thumb glided against the top of my hand, softly stroking my skin.

"Billy," I looked back up at his baby blue eyes. "I don't know what's going to happen. But I'm happy you're going to be there with me." My face transformed from that of worry to relief as I gradually shifted my body towards his. Billy's hands molded around my waist as I crawled atop his lap in the driver's seat.

I could feel the heat of his lips get stronger as I moved my head closer to his. Our lips interlocked once more and the passion from the movies was relit. I felt his hands trace themselves up and down my back; the force from his arms drawing me closer and closer to his chest. My hands found themselves cupped around his cheeks and his neck, moving wherever they saw fit as we molded ourselves to each other. I quickly glanced at the car windows to find that they began steaming up from our body heat.

"Look!" I quietly giggled and pointed towards the fogged windows. Billy let out a small laugh and began kissing the sides of my neck, sending chills up and down my spine. I turned to the side and closed my eyes, fully immersed in his physicality. My eyes gently reopened to see the time on his car clock.

1:05 AM

My eyes slowly gazed back to his as I lifted my head back; enough for a small space to form between our lips.

"Don't take this the wrong way..." I began as I watched his lips immediately crease into a smile.

"I already like where this is going." Billy's voice was soft and sexual; if velvet could be an individual it would embody him.

"But," I rolled my eyes at his response. "Would you want to-," I hesitated as the words I was about to speak had never come out of my mouth before... to a boy. Nancy, Jess, literally all of the girls-, sure. But a boy? Mom would never. Billy's teeth began to flash as he seductively licked his front teeth, almost as if he knew where this sentence was going. I took deep breath, looked up at the car ceiling and back down to Billy's sharp glare. "would you want to stay over? Because, you know-," My words began to stutter as I felt a rush of nervous heat swarm my body like bees to a beehive. "the whole, Demogorgon thing, you know?"

Blood rushed to my cheeks as I nervously pulled the jacket sleeves down to my hands and clenched both fists to grasp the warm leather between my palms. Billy put his flailing tongue back in his mouth as his hands unraveled mine from his jacket. He brought both of my hands up, hoisting them between our faces. Billy rubbed my fingers with his before giving them a soft kiss and returning them to rest on my lap.

"Penelope, I thought you'd never ask." He sarcastically remarked as he suddenly grabbed both of my cheeks and pulled my face in for one more kiss.

I felt the butterflies instantly return; mostly due to happiness that the "Douchebag of Hawkins High" was giving me, but also for the onset fear that my parents would somehow find out that I had a boy stay the night.
"Let's do this." I exhaled as I slipped over to the passenger seat and silently opened the door.
