"So you're from Canada, the Great White North? Huh, that is quite the change. What made you come to a shitty town like Hemlock?" Peter questioned quite curiously as he scratched at his beard. He seemed very interested in what my response was going to be. I gave a small shrug trying to find the words, "Oh, yeah. Quite, actually. But we came; well just my dad and I came. Only because he got a job offer at Godfrey Industries.... At the white tower. As for me, well, I had to come along because... my moms gone. I mean its not like I hate it here, well I mean I kind of do. Sort of. It's not that bad. But putting that aside, I have a much bigger concern about why people stare at new comers. Was there something that happened here? Everyone just seems so protective of themselves?" I questioned as my hands moved about while talking to him.

Peter had given a small smirk as he watched the movement, "You talk with your hands? Are you into sign language or some shit?" He mocked copying my hand movement. I gave a small surprised look, elbowing his arm. He seemed to have steered away from my question, "Not funny," I replied and shook my head at him, "Its just how I talk. But you still didn't answer me, Peter," I noted growing even more curious. Perhaps he was hiding something. I could tell he was keeping some sort of secret.

We had both taken a turn down the hall. He scratched at his beard again, and his eyes drifted from mine, "uh, no not really. Well, there was this one thing. It was in the past though. It's not important anymore. They just don't like strangers, believe me, I still have the same treatment as an outsider. I still get shit on because I'm a Gypsy. Let me rephrase that, I'm a Gypsy piece of trash. Try living with that title for a few years." He explained, he spread his arms out to the sides before dropping them against his legs, "You know, every bad thing that happened in this town had everyone turning to me. The police were even against my word you'll come to realize the police force here sucks."

My eyes widened "Wait, rewind, you're a Gypsy? Well no shit, Eh. You must have travelled a lot, right? As for the whole police business, why were you involved with them? Are you like some rebellious bad boy or something? You don't really remind me of one." I added jokingly. But Peter soon looked away again, "It was nothing." he quickly responded, but soon he became super quiet. I furrowed my brows at him, he now had my suspicions more than before.

Coming into view of my locker, I pointed towards it, "Right here," Peter had stopped, leaning up against the other locker with his hands tucked behind him. He was looking up at the ceiling, patiently waiting for me.

Gathering my English binder I heard a whisper, but could barely hear what it was saying. I turned my head to where Peter was standing. "Sorry, did you say something?" I questioned as my blue eyes looked up to him, he dropped his gaze from the ceiling giving me a confused look, "Uh, no. Why?" "Oh... No reason. Sorry." I added as I closed my locker. I blinked several times, before shaking my head at myself.

None the less, again I heard the same whisper. But now I could make it out, it was whispering my name, "Rebecca. Rebecca." It was clearer, a voice of a girl, a very familiar girl. I turned my head to Peter again. Looking past him, and behind him I saw Amanda standing there, her arms crossed. She seemed very different from when I first met her, it felt cold. But it wasn't clicking as to why the temperature had dropped so low.

I folded my arms around my body trying to keep warm, but it seemed I was the only one who could feel the cold. It was like a dream state, had I been Astral Projecting while awake. Peter was still standing where he was, looking at me. But not in a calm gaze, he seemed apprehensive.

"You aren't listening. You don't listen." Her voice was cold and like knives to the back. She began to walk closer and closer. Walking right through Peter, her face so close to mine. Her hand gripped a hold oh my cheeks. Her hands felt like ice, so cold. Squeezing, she lifted my head partially and I stood in fear. I felt frozen in time, her mouth opened as if she were to say something. But instead, blood came pouring out.
