What is up my fellow readers, yes I have gone MIA in the past year or so now. After a long hiatus of just working and dealing with the complications of life. I'm proud to say that I am back. I just picked up writing this story again and surprise I finished chapter eleven. So for all you avid readers who have been missing this story. I'm pleased to announce that I'll be working on it more. I'm sorry if I have failed in keeping you around but I'm really trying to focus more on writing. Now I can't promise I'll have a chapter every week. But I'm hopefully going to keep updating it as much as possible when given the chance. Because I mean come on, I'm in love with this fan fiction I wrote. I'm super proud of it.
So stay tuned for more updates!
Much love,
~ Toxic***
Roman had focused on driving us away from the catastrophic environment we had gotten ourselves into as the sun was now just barely shining it's light ready to say goodbye. I had held onto my arm that had been bleeding ripping part of shirt so I could put some sort of fabric on it. Tying it tightly around my wound with my right hand and my teeth for the pressure. I looked to Roman who seemed to be getting light-headed. After all, he must have lost more blood than I did with all that running. "Roman, stop the car." but he ignored my words wanting to get far away as possible from Oak Orchards. "Roman," I said his name again calmly but he was so hard-headed he wasn't going to listen. "I'm fine."
I ignored his words, turning the car engine off as I turned the keys. "What are you doing? The Caul could still be after us." Roman added bitterly not liking the fact we had stopped on the road. "Get out of the car," I added still calm, though I was ready to scream at him.
"I said I was fine." Roman fought back refusing to do as I said, "Roman get out of this car. Now." I said it once more asserting myself but you could tell he was still reluctant. "Let me cover that wound of yours you've lost so much blood." Roman's green eyes pierced into my soul, "I said I was fine."
Uhg he was so infuriating and stubborn. "At least let me drive then, you can bleed out in the passenger seat for all I care just not when you're driving." I quickly added giving him a stern look my father always did when he disapproved of me. It was a look that children usually listened to and it worked. Roman stepped out of the driver's seat, limping around to the passenger seat as I climbed out. "Can I please just—"
"No." Roman added harshly as he climbed into the passenger seat. "Okay, I get you're a Upir and you have magical healing abilities or whatever it is you have but at least cover that wound you're bleeding out!" I quickly added with concern and I refused to start the car until he did so. "Rebecca, Drive home." Roman had looked into my eyes and the strange feeling that I had when Olivia showed up to my door after she asked me to let her in I lost control of myself for minute mind blank, and I did just that. I drove.
We had driven down the street and we had pulled up in my driveway where I turned his car off and then blinking several times I looked at the door to my house and then to him. When did we get here? I didn't remember much of the drive at all, or even starting the vehicle.
I stared around confused but climbed out of the car as Roman did the same, his wound was still bleeding and we had both walked into my house. I had him sit on the couch as I went to the bathroom to clean my own wound. It hadn't been terrible but it still hurt like a mother fucker. I poured some rubbing alcohol onto the wound biting my lip at the pain. But quickly bandaged it up with proper gauze and bandages.
