last time i met someone deemed
"too good to be true"
they let me down in ways i wouldn't
wish on the one i hate most.
it was a pain that grew from something i
could have lived without,
but because i was so entangled with the picture
of him,
i let him let me down.don't blame the hurting person for being
cautious,
and for being afraid.
don't blame a hurting person to want nothing
to do with that.
don't blame the hurting person who meets someone
too good to be true,
and believes it without a shadow of a doubt.don't blame the hurting person
when they know for a fact
it's what they're best at.
