THE HOUSE OF BLACK was the most noble and pure pureblood families in the wizarding world, always managing to get the attention of magical and non-magical beings. For centuries, the House of Black was the prodigy and pride of the wizarding world, taught of the best practices and magic, and quickly disowning any who deemed as unworthy of the name 'Black'. Then, the second wizarding war came, and the generation of Blacks started to decease, three disowned, two dead, and another two married into honourable families, leaving their last name, making Regulus Arcturus Black the last true Black to have the ability to pass the noble name. The burden of continuing the Black name and the wizarding war weight a ton on the Blacks' shoulder, so when the heir of the Black name came home with a smile, conveying that his fiancé, Norella Rose Leàttiea - albeit not in the sacred 28 but still a Pureblood nevertheless - was pregnant with his child, Walburga and Orion almost exploded due to happiness.
NINE MONTHS LATER, on the fifteenth of November, 1979, born Vela Evangeline Black. Although not called by her first name anymore, the newly born Black heiress was the Blacks' pride and joy, as even in her first few hours, display of her mother's powerful magic was shown, making her already dangerous to both sides of the war. Regulus, being a death eater, was aware of the dangers the world could bring to his family, and so, wanting to end the war, he did what was most unexpected of him. After having his house-elf, Kreacher, almost die, he went after the cave, and with that, he successfully killed himself, and leaving his family only two letters, one which never reached them until years to come. This left the family heartbroken, and with Norella's sickness, it was a blooming thought in the family as what to come for the young Black heiress.
THREE YEARS AFTER the second wizarding war ended, with Evangeline barely four years old, the young heiress' mother passed away after the sickness won the battle, leaving behind everything she owned and taught to her daughter. The young girl lamented many weeks as she was very close to her mother, before getting everything together again and relying deeply on her grandfather, Orion Black. And, you may ask, 'what happened after that?' considering it would have taken quite the toll on the heiress.
But for now, let's just say that it was a history to pry, a present to be, and a future to seek.
