No Feelings

As I stood in front of the stage, holding the trophy in front of everyone, I felt nothing. With my loved ones tearing up, and everyone else cheering, I felt empty. When I looked out into the distance, where there was only trees, buildings, and people, I felt nothing. I've lost many things in my life, but this one hurts the most. It was while I was battling Voldemort with the chosen one, Harry Potter, when Bellatrix shot Avada Kedavra behind my back. Harry and I was too focused on Voldemort and before I knew it, I heard a familar scream of a girl. The same girl that I swore to protect with my life.

"NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO." I shouted. Her face showed her accepting her fate, just so that I can life. In anger, I stood up.
"Avada Kedavra!" and suddenly, Bellatrix fell down, the ghost of her laugh lingers behind.
"This is for Penny, who was by my side through thick and thin. The one who saved my life." My eyes was full of anger, and sadness.

Voldemort was surprised for a second before he yelled, angry that he had lost yet another trustworthy follwer.

"Crucio!" Voldemort shouts, but this time, this time, both Harry and I were prepared.

"Protego!" says the both of us at the same time. Our wand's magic was against Voldemort's, but slowly, we were beating him.

As one of the Death Eaters came forward, one of the students blocked his way.

"Don't you dare take another step." She pointed her wand towards him and before everyone knew it, they started to battle.  Suddenly, everyone started fighting, but I didn't care. All I cared about was to kill Voldemort.

Finally, finally, was I able to defeat Voldemort....

"Harry..."
"Hm, oh, what do you want, MC?"
"...Can I keep the Resurrection Stone instead..." I hesitantly asked.
"...Why?"
"...It's because, I want to see a certain someone one last time, before I leave..."

Harry knew who was I talking about and allowed me to have it.

"Penny....." I reached out but, my hand passed through her once again, as it had been many other times.
"MC.....Please," Penny begin.
"Please what?" I would do anything for her, even if it means that I die.
"Forget me."
"NO!" I immediately responded.

"Why, why is she asking me to forget her? Why is this happening?" is what I thought.
"Please, just forget me. It hurts to see you like this, when you were always happy, and full of life."
"No. I'm NEVER going forget you until I die."
".......Even if it's going to make me hate you?"
".....Yes....Yes, even if it means that you'll hate me forever."
