Penny Haywood one shots

A Typical Date

"Hey!" Penny waved at mc, who was going to Quidditch practice. "What's up?" mc asked as they were going to the field. "Nothing~ I just wanted to give you this." Penny told mc before kissing mc. "..." mc blushed because they got kissed out of nowhere. Even though mc is popular, they are don't realize it and they always humble themselves. They're very shy when it comes to public affection, so Penny always tease them to make them blush. "Hey...Come on. Don't tease me!" mc told Penny before running to their teammates.  "Pff. They're so easy to tease." Penny thought to herself before walking to the Quidditch stands...After the match(which mc won), they went to take a shower and sleep. At least, that's what mc planned before Penny urged them to go on a date with(after a shower). 

"Come on!" Penny urged mc as they got out of the shower with some fancy muggle clothes on. "...Why am I doing this again?" mc asked. "It's because we're going date." Penny answered as they went inside Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop. "What do you darlings want?" Madam Puddifoot asked with a gentle smile. "I would like 2 Rose syrup tea cakes, 1 chocolate muffin, 1 blueberry muffin, and Cherry Caramel tea please." Penny told Madam Puddifoot as she wrote all of it down in a piece of paper. "Coming right up in a few minutes." she said to Penny and mc as she turned around and left. "Are you excited for the celestal ball next week." Penny asked as they waited. "Uh, I don't really know. I may or may not suck at dancing...so I think that I'll leave in the middle of the party."

"Why, I can just teach you how to dance if you really can't dance." Penny told mc. "hmmm, I don't know," mc answered. Madam Puddifoot came in with the  goods and mc asked for the total for the tea and food. "It's 2 galleons and 13 sickles." she answered. "Here you go." mc told her as they gave 2 galleons and 13 sickles to Madam Puddifoot. mc paid for it because they're a gentleman/gentlewoman?(is that a thing? Whatever.) "Please, for me?" Penny asked. "Ugh, fine. I wish I didn't have such a soft spot for you though." they told her while she was excited. "It's because you love me, right." she smiled. They didn't say anything because of Penny's words and just ate the chocolate muffin while drinking Cherry Caramel quietly. ".....Hey, after we finish eating, I want to show you something." I said, breaking the silence that I created because Penny wanted to have a date with me for a month now and because of the cursed vaults, I didn't have time to go on a "date". Besides, I'm a person who doesn't do well with fancy parties. Not to mention the outfits that I have to choose went going. It itches a ton but I have to deal with it.

After we finished eating and thanked Madam Puddifoot, we left. I held Penny's hand, which shocked her because I've never did it before until now and a few seconds later, she squeezed my hand. "We're almost there." I told her. I blindfolded her so she couldn't see where we were going. "Oh, and hold very tight because we're going to ride a hippogriff to go there." "Wait, what?! We're going to fly there!?" Penny exclaimed while trying to take her blindfold off. "It's ok. I'll always catch you when you fall." Wow, that was so cheesy. Embarassed, I quickly placed Penny on top of the hippogriff before climbing up and grab its feathers.  Penny was clinging tightly on me and so we flew. We flew for what seemed like a minute or 2 but in reality, it was more than that. When we landed, I climbed down and used accio on Penny because it was easier that way. "Come on!" I urged Penny and we ran. When we got there, I said "You can remove the blindfold now." When she removed the  blindfold, her reaction was priceless. We were at a cliff and the sunset and views were magnificent. Besides us is a picnic that I planned beforehand and prepared now.

My picnic consists of some cheeses(Cheddar, Mozzarella, Swiss, etc), crackers(regular good old crackers), some fruits(Cherries, Strawberries, Grape, and Watermelon), some chocolate chip cookies, exploding lemonade, and butterbeer. "mc, thank you!" Penny exclaimed while running to me and hugged me. I hugged her back before saying, "Anything for my girlfriend." while smiling. "Come on, let's eat now." We ate while enjoying the view of the horizon and sunset. We also talked about different topics and gossips while having fun. Penny fed me a cherry and we laid down when we finished our meal. The night sky was beautiful and we could see all the stars clearly. We were chilled and I stood up, which caused Penny to stand up too. "What's wro-" Her words were cut short as I placed one of my knee on the floor and proposed. "Penny Haywood, will you marry me!" In my hand was a ring and in it's center was a deep yellow diamond. I know that I didn't say any romantic lines or anything but it was fine. She cried happy tears and accepted. Ms.Haywood, when the cursed vaults end, I"ll marry you and we'll have a beautiful life ahead of us. I kissed her hand before kissing and before we rode the hippogriff(btw their name was Alex) and the journey back to Hogwarts was something that I'll never forget. I don't know what will happen in the future but I know that with her by my side, I'll overcome it and from then to now and to the future, please remember that I'll always love you and only you, Penny Haywood.
