Did you guys celebrate Thanksgiving? I was too lazy, so uh, sorry!
"Happy Thanksgiving everyone!" says Barnaby across the table.
"Uh, why am I here anyways?" questions Merula, who was crossing her arms.
"Oh, come on. It's Thanksgiving!" I said out loud, sighing.
"How about we all say what we're thankful for this year." Penny suggests, and almost everyone nodded(except Merula).
"I'm thankful for becoming a dragonologist!" says Charlie cheerfully as he gulps down Butterbeer.
"I'm thankful for Chen almost dying back a few months ago." Merula said next while snickering.
We went around and everyone said what they were thankful for. Finally, it was my turn.
"Um, I'm thankful for my family and my friends who has helped me find my brother," And everyone smiled(including Merula(shock*)). "And my lovely girlfriend, Penny, who has supported me ever since we met." I mumbled the last part.
After that, we kept eating and drinking(I drank a ton of Firewhiskey) until everyone passed out.
"Why does this always happen every single year?" Pen asks while shaking her head.
3...2...1...
"Boo!" I popped up behind her and scared her.
"MC!" shouted Penny as she quickly turned around.
"woah." I caught her wrist before she slapped my face.
What a close call.
"Chill, Pen." I said out loud, worried about my safety.
"Well, I'll show you chill." Says Pen who then mumbles something before leaving, winking in the process.
"I'm so screwed." I thought to myself while covering half of my face using one of my hands.
