UNEXPECTED { patty walters }

chapter 4

Mia's pov---------------

I was sat on a couch alone. Dan was talking to his sister katy, I didn't know anyone so i just stayed quiet. Patty had gone upstairs, For some reason he didn't seem to get along with is family very well. 

I was really bored and i felt like i was annoying everyone by just sitting there doing nothing so i decided to make up an excuse to go upstairs and go talk to patty.

"Hey, Dan I'm gonna go to the toilet" He turned around and gave me a hate full look.

"Yeah, whatever" he scoffed.

 I made my way upstairs and there he was, Sat on the landing on his phone.

"Do you mind if i sit with you for a bit" I said shyly.

"Not at all" he smiled, omg that smile was to die for, I practically melted on the inside.

"Do you mind me asking why you are sat up here alone instead of being with your family" He put his phone down and looked me dead in the eye, he was giving me his full attention, he made me feel good like he actually wanted to listen to me.

"Erm....i don't really get along with m family and i never know what to talk to them about since they don't like any of my music, So we just started to talk less and less and now we don't talk at all". there was a silence, not an awkward silence, just a enjoying each others company silence.

"What about you, you don't seem to get along with any of my family, and if i may say, Dan seems like he is controlling you a bit" i light heartedly laughed

"I have a really controlling dad and he wants me to settle down in a serious relationship with someone that he approves of, it started off okay and then Dan started being really bossy and controlling, and i don't like it anymore". he nodded.

"Why don't you break up with him then"

"Because i would have no where to live" I said sadly.

"Well there is a spare room in mine and all my Friends house, you are very welcome to stay with me" with him saying that his arm was now around my waist, i felt butterflies in my belly, i then rested my head on his shoulder.

Then we heard someone clear their throat from behind us, We both turned our heads and realized that it was Dan. He looked mad, He looked really really mad.

"Mia, Car now" he said sternly, Patty grabbed my arm.

"She is not going anywhere with you" he said through his front teeth

"YES SHE IS, MIA COME WITH ME NOW"  i was really scared so i just went towards patty, Dan then grabbed m shoulder turned me so i was facing him and he punched my in my belly, Patty pulled me towards him, then Dan punched me several other times till i was knocked out cold.

--------------------- Patty's pov ----------------------

I picked Mia up and ran out of the house, I put Mia in the car and then i drove to my apartment. I left Mia in the car while i went to go get Luke and Emma.

Once we had Mia out of the car, We layed her down on the sofa and hoped that she would be okay in the morning, i gave her a blanket and then i went to bed myself.
