UNEXPECTED { patty walters }

Chapter 3

Me and Dan have been going out for a week now, he is really boring and we have nothing in common, tonight he is taking me to meet his family 'great'.
I was now living in dans apartment because of the falling out with my dad, I often tried to stay away from dan because he liked to try and control me.

--------------8 pm ---------------
"Mia, we have to go hurry up" he shouted from down stairs i grabbed my hoodie and ran down the stairs nearly falling over.

"you are wearing that" he scoffed, i looked down at the floor, why did he always have to put me down, i was wearing a you me at six t shirt and my black jeans with a paramore hoodie. he opened the door and let me walk out.

we sat in the car in awkward silence, dan then cleared his throat and obnoxiously said " you better make a good impression, or else"

I could feel the words " or else what " on the tip of my tongue, i was about to say it but i covered it up with humming. Dan shot me a glare.

"Mia we are here" he said sternly

he knocked at the white door with a rose stain glass window in the centre, an elderly woman answered the door "hello Daniel, it's so nice to see you again"
He looked at her and smiled.

"you to mum this is my girlfreind Mia" she looked at me with a blank expression and then smiled

" Hello, I'm Daniels mum, do come in " she then opened the door a little bit more so that we could get in.

And that's when it hit me.......it was like I had something in my throat my belly was tied in knots, I couldn't speak and I couldn't move. A boy about my age just stared at me and there was really on,y one word to describe him with and that was, perfect. It took me a moment to realise that dan was talking to me he squeezed my hand, I flinched in pain he shot me the most terrifying glare. He started going around the family and introducing me to everyone. Then he came to the last one, the only one I was interested in.

"And this is patty, my cousin". Dan said it as if he was almost disappointed. Dan sighed.

------------patty's Pov------------
I saw Dan's face as he walked in, I sighed and faked a smile. Then from behind him a girl appeared holding his hand, she was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen I couldn't take her eyes of her. Dan was talking to her but she was oblivious to it she was looking at me right in my eyes, I wonder why. Then she flinched in pain, Dan had squeezed her hand. He had hurt her, then I randomly feel rage and anger, how could he hurt her, she deserved better.

When he introduced me to her she smiled and I couldn't but help smile either. I knew Dan didn't like me and I heard him sigh after he said my name but I chose to ignore it.

"Hey, I'm Mia"

"Patty" I smiled, she was so pretty, I never got tired of looking at her.

Okay so that was another chapter, I'm sorry it's short again, it was sort of a filler but I have something cool and very dramatic planned out so keep reading....xx
