UNEXPECTED { patty walters }

chapter 5, New friends.

------------------ Mia's pov ------------------

I woke up, My vision was blurred so i couldn't really see anything. I could hear voices, but not ones that i recognized. I sat up and a few moments later i could see again. But i didn't know where i was, A girl with green hair came in to the room, I had no idea who she was i started to get a little panicky, Then Patty walked in i soon calmed down. I don't know what it is about him but i always feel safe when he is with me.

"Hey, Are you okay, My names Emma i'm Patty's friend". The girl looked at me with pitty.

"Yeah i'm fine, what happened?" i looked at her puzzled.

"Well, when Dan tried to make you leave patty stood up for you and Dan got mad and he hit you several times" i shook my head in disbelief.

A boy with ginger hair walked down the stairs and ran up to the sofa and jumped over it and said "Hey i'm Luke" he looked about my age but had loads of energy.

I laughed and then replied with " I'm Mia" i stood up and walked over to patty, He grabbed me and pulled me into a hug, I melted on the inside i have never felt this before my belly was dong somersaults and back flips and i couldn't think straight.

i don't know what came over me i just hugged hair and to my supprise she hugged me back, She was smaller than me so her head rested on my chest while my chin was on the top of her head. Ths felt so right, Luke ruined the moment bye clearing his throat and raising his eyebrows at me then he said he was going to go get some monsters from the shop and he asked if Mia and i wanted to come, she nodded.

------------- Luke's pov --------------

We were all in the car with Emma driving and patty in the front with her while i sat in the back with Mia.

I thought she was really nice and i cold tell that we were gong to be good friends, but the thing i can also tell that she is gong to be more than friends with Patty i don't know why but can just see it , I know that he likes her by the way he acts around her also the way he looks at her.

I nudged her arm and whispered " you know that Patty likes you right?"

She gave me a confused look "I don't think so". she laughed light heatedly and just stared at Patty, I could tell that she liked Patty as well. 

It was a ten minute car journey to the shop, The car ride was silent but not awkward, Patty was on twitter, Emma was driving, Mia was just looking out the window probably thinking about what i had just said and i was looking at Emma. She was so pretty it was unbelievable i wish she liked me as much as i liked her but she just likes me as a friend.
