Poisonous Love - Draco x Reader

chapter 1

You've finally arrived at Hogwarts for your 4th year and as you step off the train you get that familiar feeling. The street lamps are eluminating the platform, you can hear the sound of mumbled voices and feet hitting the ground as they jump off the train and as you look up you see it. Hogwarts, in the distance surrounded by fog with the sun settling down just behind the tall building.

"Ah back again this year are we y/l/n" says malfoy.

"why excited to see me?" you say with a witty tone.

...

He seems distracted, oh my god is he staring at your...

"uh... sorry what?" he asks.

"I said excited to see me?"

"oh terribly excited, I'm gonna make this year hell for you y/l/n"

As malfoy is walking away you shout,"see ya round ferret boy!"
He glares at you with his cold, silver eyes.

Your walking to the great Hall with luna and cedric, two of your best friends, and you run into ferret boy. He lands on top of you and as your both lying on the ground in the corridor, you notice all eyes are on you. This really just happened in front of everyone.

"urghh get off" you groan.

He gets up and to your suprise he gives you his hand, you take it. He's cold to touch but it's almost comforting as he pulls you up, he pulls too hard though and you end up an inch or two away from his face.

"thanks" you say while your face turns red. Malfoy notices and smirks.

You walk back over to cedric and luna and continue your way to the great Hall.

As you walk through the grand double doors into the Hall, you see the four long tables stretching across almost the whole length of the room. It was lit by thousands and thousands of candles floating above where the other students were sitting. The tables were laid with shiny golden plates and goblets. You look up and see the velvety black night sky dotted with stars. The ceiling is bewitched to look like the sky outside.

At the front of the Hall is another long table where the teachers are sitting.

You and ced sit down together at the hufflepuff table and luna heads to the ravenclaw table to eat with cho.

Before you know it draco and his goblin of a friend Pansy have sat down at the slytherin table right behind you.

Malfoy taps you on the shoulder right after Dumledoor finishes his welcome back speech and you get a wiff of his strong cologne "I see your having some quality time with a hufflepuff hey y/l/n" him and pansey snigger.

She wraps her arms around his and leans her head on his shoulder. She's almost always with him and honestly he doesn't seem to enjoy the attention. He slips his arm out from her grip.

You turn around to face him "yeah, jealous?"

"you wish"

Ced interrupts, "shut up malfoy, ignore him y/n"

"ooooo getting your boyfriend to protect you are we" Pansy says giggling.

Cedric gently grabs your shoulder to turn you back around and you finish eating. You both say goodnight and walk to your dorms.

You share your dorm with 4 other girls, none of which your particularly fond of but it's fine because your asleep half the time your there.

Black shorts and a green vest top is what you chose to wear as pyjamas for tonight. You get changed and climb into bed. Luckily, yours is the one right on the end so your not stuck between two other beds and it's easier to get up without waking anyone.
