Her Mission-5

Just like I guessed, by the end of the night Aaron did try to hit on me. I don't want to end our friendship and I also didn't want to make seeing him at work awkward so I told him straight.

"Aaron, you're a great guy handsome and all but I really don't see us being in a relationship together. I'm sorry if I led you on this past week but I'm not interested" I said as he dropped me off
"Its okay, you didn't lead me on. I just liked  your personality and thought we could be a thing"
"I'm really sorry. I don't want things to change between us after this"
"I'd love to keep being friends. I'll see you at work on Monday"
"Thanks for the night. Goodnight"
"Goodnight Cam" he said and drove off.

I'm actually glad that things we're going to be normal between Aaron and I. I sighed in content and entered the house.

"Tell me how the night went" Noah attacked me immediately I entered
"Geez boy, you didn't allow me to shut the door" I said walking to the kitchen.
"Whatever. How did it go?" Raine said coming out from the mini living room.
"The night was good. A little embarrassing at first cause I violated the color code but they got over it and the night just went on"
"Are you for real? What color was everyone wearing?" Noah asked
"Yellow. I felt like a pimple in my red dress"
"It doesn't matter what anyone thought. You really rocked the dress girll" Raine said
"Thanks guys. Raine would you believe this model Maria was at the ceremony?"
"Yeah. It was all over her Instagram tonight"
"What about her?" Noah pipped in
"Herself and some other bitch were talking bitch about me while I was in the washroom"
"What?! Isn't she like the sixty year old actor's new slut or something?"
"Exactly. She even slept with Ronnie, remember him. The guy that dated Noah"
"She does gay guys too?.. That's super gross" I said talking a sip from my bang energy drink.
"I hope you put those bitches in their right places?" Raine said
"I wouldn't have had it any other way.. I can't believe people like her still exist in this world"
"Not everyone has strong morals like you Cam"
I nodded in agreement and headed to my room.

After taking a shower and putting on a short and baggy top, I headed back down to meet Raine and Noah munching on my last box of Fruit Loops.
"Hey! I told you both to quit taking my food" I yelled snatching both their bowls
"Give it back now little virgin" Noah said
"Don't call me that" I huffed
"Why not? Aren't you a virgin" Raine said bursting out in laughter.
"I seriously hate you both" I said heading to the  theater in my house.

Few minutes later, Noah and Raine came to join me.
"What movie is this?"
"Birds Of Prey" I answered
"We've seen this movie like a hundred times now Cam. Put another movie in" Raine complained
"If you have an issue with this movie, you're free to use the other theater" I said throwing popcorn at her.
"It's so far away"
"Well suck it up and watch this"
"Can you two shut it, I'm watching a movie here" Noah half yelled.
"No need to get riled up fag" Raine said.
Due to our loving friendship Noah ignored Raine's insult but I know sometimes it gets to him.
"Well at least I last long in a relationship" Noah replied. 
Knowing exactly where this conversation was going, I had to stop them.
"Guys.. Let's not do this"
"Sorry" Noah said.
It took Raine a few minutes but I know she'll come around.
"I'm sorry I called you a fag" she said
"No one ever apologizes for calling me a virgin"
They both gave me a look and I instantly kept quiet.
"The both of you are bullies, you know right?"
"You love us anyways" Noah said putting me in a head lock.

I woke up the next morning with my face on Raine's butt and Noah's leg on my stomach. It doesn't take rocket  science to know that we fell asleep while watching our second movie "The Terminator".

"Wake up three of you. Mom said to call you for breakfast" I heard a voice.
It took me minute to figure the voice out.
"Lurleen!!" I yelled literally jumping out of bed sized couch  thereby taking Noah and Raine down with me
"Nice to see you too Daniela but I'll need you and your two friends to wash up before coming near me" She said laughing lightly.
"Well Cam, a warning would have been better than tossing us to the floor" Raine muttered rubbing her butt.
"I think I'll need a pack of ice for my head Cam!" Noah yelled.
"Can the two of you be less dramatic and go freshen up" I said already leaving.

Lurleen is Mary's twenty seven year old daughter but she stays all the way in Australia with her husband and her son. She's as nice as her mother and she make's the best pies in the world plus her four year old son Ethan is so cute I could stare at him all day.

All of us gathered at the table for breakfast and Noah has been making funny faces with Ethan since forever.
"Noah can you stop now. I'm tired of seeing you look like a strangled horse to my son" Lurleen said
"You hurt my feelings Leen" Noah replied.
"When did you get back Leen.. I'm so excited to see you"
"I flew back yesterday but I got here this morning when you three were still sleeping your heads off"
"I've missed you so fucking much Leen" Raine said
"Don't swear in front of my grand child, you asian brat" Mary called from the kitchen.
Yes Raine is part Asian and that's what Mary uses to call her when she's done something nasty.
"Can you drop the nickname already Mary.. Its been years now" Raine said

We later discovered that Lurleen was back home because her husband left her for some Australian model. I wonder how she kept her happy facade for so long. I would have cried my eyes out. So now we are in our ice cream parlor with Ethan to cry with Leen.
"You guys really brought me here to cry" She asked
"Yeah. Bottling up all the sadness isn't healthy. Cry it out with the ones you love" Noah said
"I have to be strong for Ethan."
"But  first be strong for yourself for god's sake. When Ethan grows up and remembers this day, he'll understand" Raine replied.
That was all it took for Lurleen to let out the waterworks. She cried for an hour straight while yelling profanities at her husband.
A few customers eyed us warily but didn't say anything. Somewhere during her tears, Ethan couldn't handle seeing his mom crying so he joined her. And now we're all kicked out of the ice cream parlor because we all were crying so loudly disturbing other customers.

But at least we made Leen feel a little better. I allowed Leen to stay at my house till she found an apartment of her own. Raine drove Noah home  because Noah lost his car keys for the ninth time this week.
When I got home, I had a delivery from mom and dad, a letter telling me that I had to represent them in a meeting with Spencer and Co corporation. That's the only reason they'll get in contact with me. They couldn't send this to me through text because they don't have my phone number.. Wow, great parents I have there.

I got home, played with Ethan a little. Prepared for the meeting with Spencer and Co corporation, the I also prepared for the next working week. In a way I can say I'm content with my life, though I'm a little anxious for the new administration. I just hope Weston Jr isn't a tyrant leader.
