First things first, Witchcraft is an open practice. It is not associated with any religion, and anyone can be a witch. There are Christian witches, Pagan witches, Athiest witches, etc. the list goes on. Being a witch is also gender neutral. Everyone has the choice to label themselves how they want to. Some people resonate with Witch. Some people prefer Practitioner. It's all up to the individual.

Wicca, on the other hand, is a religion that practices Witchcraft. Not all Witches are Wiccans, but all Wiccans are Witches.

Wicca is a nature-based belief system or a neo-pagan religion (it depends on who you talk to. It can be called different things.)

The religion started in the early 20th century (around the 1950s) and is one of the fastest-growing religions.

The fundamental moral system of Wicca is summarised in the Wiccan Rede, which is quite long, but the shortened version states.

"Bide the Wiccan Law ye must, In perfect love, in perfect trust.

Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An ye harm none, do as ye will.

And ever mind the Rule of Three: What ye send out, comes back to thee.

Follow this with mind and heart, And merry ye meet, and merry ye part."

You have the freedom to do what you want with your beliefs and practices as long as you don't inflict harm on others. These witches mostly follow pure light paths and only do good.

Wicca promotes oneness with the divine (nature, animals, and spirit) and worships Mother Goddess and the horned god. (but there are also many more)

they celebrate the weel of the year. Which is an annual cycle of 8 sabbaths. A cycle of your seasons. 4 cross-quarter days and 4 quarter days.

Witchcraft is a practice or skill of "The craft of the wise" These witches can do black magic.

Physical practice is all that's needed. No matter your beliefs, you can be a witch. Many witches are solitary, but there are many that come together to make a coven to help strengthen their energy.

You use Witchcraft in your daily or weekly life to get what you want, need, desire, or want to change—using the energies of the universe to get these changes.

You can work with the energies of crystals, the earth, deities, oils, and plants. Every living thing has energy that's unique to itself. You use these tools to cast spells, and do rituals and ceremonies.

You use these energies from whichever tool you use combined with your own to-do spells and send them up to the universe.

There are many different paths you can take, and there is no right or wrong path. It's a journey for everybody. It all depends on who you are and what you feel best working with when you add it to your lifestyle.

Most witches use the craft to protect themselves and to send out love and light for and from anything imaginable, but some witches will do bad things with their magic. You have to be careful.

Witchcraft allows you to feel in control of situations that are usually out of your control. It can help you reduce stress that way.

Witchcraft isn't evil, but a person can use it in a negative way showing their true self. The craft is not associated with the devil or lucifer, It can be if you engage with the deities, but it's your choice.
