I woke up with tingling hand, and air rushing in from the window, and realised that it is the second day into the games.

"Only two more days" I whispered to myself, then was rudely interrupted by Carisse.

"Hurry up Tarsha, you already missed out on breakfast, don't miss out on training!" Carisse yelled. What? I missed out on breakfast! That means i didn't get to eat those tasty crumpets, rumoured around District 5. But i went on anyway. I got into my uniform, and walked outside my door to be face to face with Monroe.

"Why good morning" He said.

"Hello Monroe" I said with an awkward smile "Were you waiting outside my door?" I said pointing back to it.

"Um, well yes, i thought we could walk down to the training arena together" He said holding out his arm "Shall we?" He said in a English ascent.

"Um, no thank you, i need to stick to the game, and not be friends with people" I said and walked off into the elevator, and as i did my face turned to meet with Monroes across the room. He was looking shocked, but he has got to learn that he isn't going to get every girl he see's.

As i was going down the elevator to the training arena, i was regretting saying no to Monroe. I mean i know its only a walk to the training arena, but i had never been mean to anyone, or anything, but I'm going to have to get used to it, i mean I'm now a Career, well not fully, but "Pretend" Career. But is this really what a Career does? Well it must be, i've seen the Games on TV they do be brutal to other tributes, and in the training times. So yes, i know must act like this.

When the elevator stopped, i walked out and over to the training arena to be greeted by the District 4 girl from last night.

"Hi Tarsha, i've just released the good news to the others" She said while waving the "Others" over.

"What good news?" I asked.

"That your a career? Don't you remember?" She said back. Damn it! After all that thinking in the elevator i forgot about that! I'm such an idiot.

"Of course i remember, i have been training for this day all my life" I said with a grin, then the "Others" came over.

"Guys this is our private Career, Tarsha" She said pointing to me, all i did was just wave back " And Tarhsa, i would like you to meet Scabe and Emerald from District 1" She said and they both waved at me  and i waved back " This  is Snake and Juele from District 2" We did the same thing, they waved i waved back "And not to forget my district partner, Fraile and myself, Mynique" Mynique said. Then my face went in horror. Another girl using my real name? How is this! I would love to say my name is Mynique to, but then i would be in deep trouble, fooling the Capitol, so i let it slide, and wave to them both.

"Well lets get going" Emerald said, and we did as she said, and made our way over to the spear throwing station, but i thought, aren't we meant to be doing survival stations first? So i asked Mynique.

"Why are we doing iindiviual stations and not the compuilsory ones?" I sdaid to Mynique, but Juele decided to answer for her.

"Well you were running late, so we did them without you" Juele said with a smirk. I dont think me and Juele will be getting on the best, so i go and stand next to Mynique. We started off witht he spear throwing "Um, no thank you, i need to stick to the game, and not be friends with people" I said and walked off into the elevator, and as i did my face turned to meet with Monroes across the room.
