I wake up to my phone ringing. The screen is so bright so I cant see the callers ID. I answer the phone without a thought as if I'm able to use my head this early in the morning.

"Y/n." Now I'm fully awake. My eyes are wide open and I feel like my head is going to explode.

I shouldn't have answered the phone.

"Ukai," I say with a tone.

"Y/n I've been trying to call you for so long. Why didn't you answer? I was worried." My heart is beating faster.

"I was busy." That's all I have to say for now at least.

"Can I please see you? I'm in the park. You want me to pick you up?"

"I'm busy," I couldn't find any excuse.

"You can't be busy early in the morning." He's right, I have nothing better than to go see someone who hurt me.

"Fine, I'm coming. Just wait."

I don't even try to look the least bit good. I put on his shirt and a pair of sweatpants. He won't realize I'm wearing his shirt, would he?

Everyone is sleeping so I won't bother them. I take the keys and drive there. When I park the car I hesitate for a second. What should I do? Should I act like the girl doesn't exist? Should I act like nothing was there between us? Like I didn't want him so badly and that I still do. Or should I confront him?

He is sitting on the grass with is head to a brick wall looking at the sky. He doesn't notice me until I sit beside him. I make sure to keep y distance.

He smiles.

Oh god, how much I miss his smile. All he has to do for me to miss him is smile. That's it, just smile.

"Y/n, how are you?"

"Good."

"I need you to tell me the truth. Just do it."

I nod.

"Were you avoiding me." He's looking directly at my eyes.

I look away. "Mhm." He looks disappointed. Even sad.

I can't handle him. This is exactly why I can't do relationships. You always have to say the right thing at the right time.

"Why."

"She came to your house," I can feel myself tearing up but I try to keep them in. "Your... your girlfriend, she said you had a date. So I didn't want to mess thins up," I said quietly.

"She's not my girlfriend. She was bugging me for a while but I never asked her out."

"..."

"Y/n, you weren't actually worried about that. You know I'm not that person. I might be annoying sometimes but I also have limits. I said I love you, didn't I?"

"I thought maybe you didn't mean it." I can feel one tear run down my cheek so I instantly wipe it.

"If you ever need anything I'm here. Even if you consider me just a friend, I will be more than happy in just comforting you." He looked at me and laughed a bit.

"THIS ISNT FUNNY BRO." I don't yell.

I stand up. "I need to go get ready for school, You woke me up so early I don't even know what time it is." I start walking away. I wasn't mad or anything, I was happy, but I really needed to go.

"Wait," He goes after me, grabs my hand, and turns me around then holds me from my waist against his body.

"This is exactly why I hate you," I say but I also don't try to break free. I liked it here, but he surprises me so much that I don't know how to react.

"Oh, I know you don't. We have a practice match in Tokyo."

What? No one told me.

"But you cant go. I want you with me alone once again."

"HAHA, You wish." I tease him. "I need to go Keishin."

He lets me go. "So we're on a first-name basis now?"

"What do you want me to call you then, coach, or maybe old man?"

"Oh, so I have a say in it." He teases.

"Oh fuck off," I say and walk back to my car.

I sit there for a while not knowing what to do.

I'm supposed to be mad at him not making jokes. He should be apologizing or something. But hoe can I stay mad at him when all he has to make me fall haarder is just smile.

I can't be late for school again. I get home and grab my bag and head to school.
