"You've been acting weird lately, are you sure you're fine?" Dachi asks me in class.

"I'm fine, I'm just studying for my exams." I insist even though I wasn't.

I don't think I'll be able to go to Tokyo, even though I really want to. I'll probably have to retake my exams.

This is exactly what he wants and I can't give it to him. Ania is definitely going even if she has to skip her exams, but I can't do that.

She said her mom was leaving for business or something, so I'm going to be alone. It is not that I'm complaining, I like being alone but this time I feel like it would be better.

"Daichi, I'm gonna be late for practice again,"

"Again? Why?"

"It is my first day at my job."

"Oh okay, good luck!"

I go directly there after school. I took a job as a receptionist at a hotel. It's the easiest thing I could think of. I need to ask for night shifts if I still need to play volleyball.

I change instantly after I'm done. I drive as fast as I can to school. I'm only 15 minutes late and I can't miss another one.

"Hey," I say panting by the door.

"So now she decides to show up," Tsukki says.

"Oh shut up Dino boy, unlike you I have a life and I was busy." Wow, first tike I say something rude to him.

"Hey, Dino boy." Noya and Tanaka tease him.

"Just come in Y/n, we just started," Suga tells me.

Takeda is running behind me.

"We're going to Tokyo again!" He announces happily.

"Everyone seems happy and excited but we soo get back to training.

All of us walk together after practice. They are all talking about our trip.

"I wot be going." say breaking their talking.

"What? Why." Hinata yells.

"Calm down Hinata it's not like shes special anyway," Kageyama says.

"Oh okay. sorry." I say under my breath. I didn't expect them to say anything about it or try to convince me, but that hurt like hell. Hearing it from your teammate hurts.

Daichi lifts him from the collar of his shirt. "Say that again, I dare you." He threatens him.

"Daichi, leave him," I say.

Kageyama opens his mouth to say something but Daichi is already throwing a punch.

"I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE HIM DAICHI!" He puts him down now.

This is awkward, I don't know what to do or say. Should I apologize to Kageyama? Or should I thank Daichi for standing up for me?

Ania already took my car with Tanaka so driving home so avoiding this is not an option.

"I'm sorry," I say. I'm such an idiot.

We spent the rest of the walk in complete silence until they all were waiting for a bus. I walk away not knowing where to go. I call Ania and tell her to pick me up. Tanak was riding shotgun so I sit in the backseat.

"You guys have been really close lately," Tanaka tells both me and Ania.

"Well she is a good person so why not?" Ania says.

I'm still thinking about what happened so I don't know what to say. We drop off Tanaka at his house. His sister was just coming back.

"Hey!" She calls out to us. "So you're Tanaka's girlfriend?" What? Ania? Why didn't she tell me? How did I not know about it?

"Yeah... We kind of have a thing.." Ania says.

"No way! You're definitely out of his league. An idiot like him doesn't deserve you. If he does anything stupid just tell me, I'll beat his ass."

"IM RIGHT HERE!" Tanaka yells.

We all laugh. "Goodnight." We say as we drive away.

"Why didn't you tell me?! You don't usually like dating!"I ask Ania.

"Well, I liked him. I didn't tell you because I haven't talked about it with him yet."

"You're supposed to talk about it?" Were you? I'm not good at relationships. Am I supposed to talk about it with Ukai? What are we supposed to talk about anyway?

"Depends on if you want to make it official and tell everyone."

"Does anyone know about you?"

"No, we will tell them one day."

Does Ukai like me? Does he actually want people to know he's with me? What if he's embarrassed that he couldn't get someone his age instead he got a kid?

I can't ask him. I don't want to look like an idiot.
