Okay so we're here, in the middle of a goddamn forest made of pine trees. What a perfect place it is for murder."U-uh.. Mr. Kim, may I ask.... what are we doing here?"
"Just follow me." He said and lead the way not bothering to tell me where we are right now, atleast.
He's not gonna push me off a cliff or something right? Or is he?
The skies were orange a moment ago and now it seems to dissolve in the navy blue skies. Dead leaves and twigs crackle as we walk. I can hear faint sounds coming from a distance and light illuminating through the tree foliage. The closer we get there the more I can see a gate with guards at the side.
"Dead Leaves, hidden resort..." I read the golden sign at the right part of the wall that's covered with vines with white flowers.
I ran so I can catch up on him since his long legs strides fast. Or to take it simply his walking speed is my running speed.
"Mr. Kim, are those poison ivy?" I said pointing at the wall. He took a glance at what I was pointing but just walked passed me.
You know what, sometimes I want to punch him in the face or kick him in the ass but I need to keep my cool cause this man is my boss. If he weren't my boss I already left a mark on his cheeks.
I just followed him walk towards the gate as both of the guards formally bowed. Well the gold sign speaks it all, this place is for rich people. So I guess that bow was normal.
"Good day CEO Kim." With synchronicity they said.
Hold up, don't tell me... MR. KIM OWNS THIS?!
I mean he is rich, like super rich but I just can't help but be amazed about how money can be so powerful.
"Mr. Kim, do you still have an appoinment?"
"No."
"Oh, so what are we gonna do here?" I asked but he didn't answer.
"Did I do something that annoyed you?" I asked one more time. I can hear him took a deep breath before stopping his pace. He looked back with furrowed brows; an annoyed look.
"Can you please stay quiet and just follow me?"
"Oh, okay." I whispered and bitterly smiled. What the hell was that look? I really did something foolish, huh? If I really did something wrong he could've atleast told me what it was, instead of not telling me what the exact reason is.
The only possible reason I could think of behind his attitude right now is the amount of food I eat. Yes, I know myself too well that I eat like a pig and two servings isn't enough. But that was part of the contract, that I can eat whatever I want.
My thought consumed my self-awareness that I didn't notice the luxury looking houses in front of me. All of them are made of wood with blueish windows. The lights were dim-yellow and everything just compliments well.
There are men and women wearing robes on the balcony enjoying their tea or coffee. Some of them are using their laptops and some of them are just relaxing.
"Woah this place is so serene." I whispered to myself amazed how this place gives me a somewhat fairytale vibe.
"Love it?" He asked with pride in his voice.
"Yes! I... I mean this place is wonderful." Whoops, I got a little excited.
"Good, guess I picked the perfect place for our honeymoon." Mr. Kim casually said as if that shit was just normal.
