Her point of view
I woke up suddenly when I felt I was going to pee and I looked at the wall clock. Is it ten pm? I thought it was twelve o'clock and I slowly got up and went to the bathroom.
The weather is cold but it doesn't rain, but why is it cold? Maybe there's a upcoming typhoon. I don't like watching the news. After I finished peeing I was thirsty. So I thought of going down to the kitchen.
I didn't turn on the light in the living room and I went straight to the kitchen. I turned on the light before going to the fridge. But I stopped because it's cold now so I don't want to drink cold water. I went around and got some water from the jar.
I was about to drink when I saw a shadow at my feet. Did he just come home? I didn't hear the door open as if he had come home a while ago.
What is he doing in the kitchen, is he hungry? I noticed he didn't move and stayed on. That's why after I drank I faced him but my eyes widened and I accidentally dropped the thing I was holding. Shit! Good thing it's made of plastic so it didn't cracked or broke, but the noise still made an echoed.
"Tristan h-how? why are you here?" I don't know what happened to him but he seems to be out of his mind. He was still staring at me.
He slowly walked and came a little closer. "S-sheryl what are you doing here?" He himself couldn't believe that he saw me here and I smelled his breath like the smell of alcohol?
"I can't believe I see you here is this your house?" How can I explain to him, wait, why is he here?
"How did you get in here Tristan?" I don't know but I feel nervous all of a sudden. He looked at me gently.
"I can't remember but-" But it was also replaced by wonder and questioning in his eyes.
"Are you living with your husband here?" The Tristan earlier who looked like he wasn't himself was replaced by a look of shock on his face.
"Is Rasmus your husband?" Huh? Did I hear correctly that he called Rasmus' name?
I was confused and was about to ask when another person entered the kitchen.
It's Rasmus.
"What is happening here?" There was a questioning look on his face and Tristan seemed to be frozen in place.
