Her point of view

I got out of bed when someone knocked on my bedroom door. I've been lying here for over an hour.

"Ma'am Sheryl, sir Tristan is here waiting for you downstairs." Even our maids know Tristan well because he used to always come here to the house.

"I'm coming." I don't know but I'm nervous and excited to see him again. It's been a while since we've seen each other. When I got down, I immediately saw the back of a man while talking to my mommy.

"Until now, you've been a very sweet friend to my daughter Tristan." Mommy said with a smile and I noticed that he was carrying a bouquet of tulips.

Is that expensive? Tristan was about to speak when mommy got ahead of him.

"Oh there she is, I'll leave you guys first." Tristan immediately confronted me. He has changed a lot and he is even good looking. I have to admit that Tristan is really handsome but for me Rasmus is more handsome.

He looked at me seriously.

"It's been a long time since the last time we've seen each other." He said with a smile.

I immediately came to him and hugged him. I have to admit that I also miss his pride.

"How are you my Sheryl?" I let go of the hug before answering him.

"I hate you! when did you came home to the Philippines?" I said smugly.

"Uh.. just yesterday." He said and was still a little nervous.

"Ah tulips for you." He added and I immediately accepted it.

"Thank you for bothering, what is it for?" I want to ask. I don't know why he gave me flowers it should be some chocolates as his present.

He took a deep breath before answering.

"My Sheryl, I want to.. I mean you deserve a flowers, j-just how beautiful you are.." I laughed with what he said.

"Hahaha you really are a joker, anyway thank you." I don't know but it seems to have a different meaning.

"Sheryl.. I want to date you." And my jaw dropped when he said it.

"Trista---"

"Please, say yes Sheryl." He cut me off what I was going to say. It's like I'm frozen in place.

"Tristan.. Tristan it just---" I saw the sadness in his eyes.

"I can't wait any longer and you know you were the only girl I ever loved." Oh god! How can I say it? Now that I see his sincerely.

"I know I was a coward, because I gave up easily but here I am coming back to you." I don't understand what he was going to say.

"W-what do you mean?"

"When you rejected me, I was hurt so much that I went with my parents to Canada, I thought I would forget you too, but I was wrong, I still love you." I covered my mouth, I couldn't believe what I was hearing from him.

So it's my fault why did he leave?

"Tristan you need to know that.." said with difficulty.

"What is it please tell me." It said pleadingly.

"In the two years you've been gone, a lot has happened like I got married six months ago." His two shoulders slumped as if he couldn't believe what he heard

"Please tell me you're just joking." He said regretfully.

"Tristan I'm really married."

"Fuck.." He cursed softly.

He closed his eyes before turning and leaving without saying goodbye.

I feel sorry to Tristan.
