Challan glanced over to the door way hearing a three knocks. "Challan its time for you to go to sleep i want that monitor of in 30." Sighing of irritation Challan nodded and turned off the monitor. Of course she turned it right back on and locked the door once her mom left.
The very first thing she heard when she joined the game was her friend Sevyn. "Are you gonna tell me why you left the match when we almost got the win orr.."
Challan rolled her eyes and tied up her messy white hair. "Just because you don't have a bedtime doesn't mean i don't have one, at least I joined the session again be grateful."
"Ah ah ah, where is the respect i'm older than you kid"
Of course he was older than her but it was only online anyway so whatever she said didn't really matter. Right? "Correct buuuut, I should be able to use causalities with you anyway." Challan yawned as she was getting tired. It was nearly 4am and she had school tomorrow.
"You sound tired." Sevyn's voice was always so.. gravelly. Even though Challan didn't know it he showed a lot of concern since they had been online friends for such a long time. They would even call from the time they fell asleep to the time they woke up on some days. I mean yeah, they've never met, but connections don't always have to be that way.
Sevyn would always wonder what she looked like, he didnt even know Challan's real name. He still enjoyed talking to her though. "Hey, do you want to video call for once?"
Challan almost choked. "Video call?" She didn't think he would like the way she looked. She was far from the beauty standards in Korea. Since she had been adopted her life was easy with a few complications here and there so there was no reason behind how she felt besides her insecurities. But, why did she care about his opinion anyways. It was online . That's all it'll ever be.
"Sure, just let me save the game and all that good stuff." She didn't know how excited Sevyn was, he'd finally get to see how she looked.

Okay so maybe Sevyn was excited for nothing.
"How are you gonna agree to Facetime and not even show me your face?"
Challan had been waiting for him to talk, even though Sevyn couldn't see her she was mesmerized. He didn't look how she expected, he looked even better. "You never said it was a requirement~"
Sevyn's hair was black and it was long enough to cover his eyes just a little. His jawline was strongly structured. It seemed as if you saw him in person he'd look really unapproachable. "Hey sev, don't you wear glasses?"
"Yeah, i do." Sevyn picked up his ukulele. "Ill play you a song if you show me your face." He really wanted to see what she looked like. Not that looks mattered. He just wanted to know.
"Bet, you should play 2 things its by Jimmy brown. Its also my favorite song take notes." She sat up on her bed and plugged in her headphones to minimize the noise. Let's not forget that she should've been asleep by now.
She had almost fallen asleep when Sevyn tapped on the screen scaring her a little. "We had an agreement love."
If she ever had a heart attack what shes feeling now would be close to that. Where did love come from. Maybe it was just one of those things like how older people call you sweetheart. "I'm too lazy to turn the lights on sorry." Challan turned up her brightness just enough for him to see one of her eyes and a little skin, duh.
He could tell from the amber color of her skin that she was for sure foreign. Cool. "Your eyes are green?" From his perspective they were mossy green and really feline like. Her lashes were long too.
"Yeah they are." She left out that the other eye was more of a grey-brown color. But he didn't really need to know since it wasn't that important. "I cant even see your eyes with that long ass hair."
Sevyn put on his glasses and leaned forward to grab his phone. "Can you see them now cry baby?" He held up his finger to the screen. "One second." He added putting his hair into a (small) but neat ponytail. "Now can you see?"
Challan was smiling so big behind the screen. "First of all i'm not a cry baby you are." Sneered jokingly. Sevyn's eyes were strong and round. He had mono lids and his eyes were brown but they were a vivid brown color, they reminded her of light chestnuts.
"You have really pretty eyes Sev." She felt like it was weird to randomly say that but it was only the truth.
"Should I be thankful or scared." He sat back up grabbing his ukulele.
Sevyn had been playing for awhile, but when he stopped he heard soft breathing. He tried taking a facetime photo but the only thing in frame was Challan's hand and a stuffed unicorn.
"Goodnight." He hung up and went to sleep himself since he had so much to do tomorrow.

Challan woke up with the sun in her face. Shit. The curtains weren't closed. She rushed to grab her phone but she was never in the frame. "Whew he didn't even see me." The chagrined look on her face turned into a blissful one. She hung up and left a text for him saying she was going to school.
They weren't permitted to wear much makeup but Challan always but a lipstick shade a little darker than her on her top lip with a little gloss (occasionally). A little eyeliner of course and she liked to put blush on her nose. It was cute to her.
She wore a black pleated skirt (Challan hated those) and a white button up long sleeve with a black tie. Her hair was white and fairly long, she normally tied it up in a ponytail so that it was reaching just above her waist, but with it being curly she put a head band on to keep it from looking messy.
She grabbed banana milk and egg bread from a nearby vendor. "Thank you so much." She quickly bowed and ran to her bus stop. "Two more minutes and i would've missed the bus."
Just when she finished her milk the bus came. She bowed to the driver and quickly scanned her T-Money card. She found a good seat until an old granny came onto the bus. Challan politely offered her seat and just stood the whole ride. 'At least this granny can have a good day.'
