(Avian's view)

I watched with growing sadness as the little girl removed her hand from the mirror.

'Wait!' I mentally pleaded, and her hand hovered just above her side.

"Who are you?" She asked, and I felt tears building up in my eyes.

'You don't know me?' I asked, and she shook her head.

"No." she said, as she took a few steps backward.

"I don't know who you are!" she cried, once she had fully backed away from the mirror.

I looked at her with sadness shining in my eyes.

'I am your older brother.' I said, as I pressed my gloved hands to the glass again.

"I'm an only child!" she shouted, and I felt like I had been struck with an ice shard.

'You aren't, you are my little sister!' I said, as the tears flowed down my cheeks like a waterfall.

She only backed farther and farther away from me, and the tears continued to pour down my cheeks as I looked at her sadly.

"Why are you all so interested in me? I have no idea who the heck you are or what you want with me!" she cried, as she stared at me from where she sat on her bed.

'I told you already little one, you and I are family.' I said, when she suddenly pulled a black vampire hunter gun out and pointed it at me.

'What?! h-how do you have that?!' I cried, and to my shock she smirked. "My father is a vampire hunter." she said, and I shook my head in disbelief.

'That's not true!' I cried, as I looked at her in shock. "It is," she said, as I continued to look at her with a pained expression on my face.

'I don't understand.' I said, as I ran a hand through my hair in frustration.

"You don't have to, it is simple really.. you are the prey and I am the huntress." she said, with a smirk before holding the gun at her side.
