The Legend of the Brave

Day 6

 Freya and Viola went dress shopping, Tara and Emma went for a walk in the woods and 

collected plants. Willthilas visited the local church of Lurue. When they returned to the palace, 

they were reunited with Ren and Luna, but Viola vanished. Returned to the Inn, met an irritating 

adventuring party, “The Flashing Blades.” Freya made their so­­called leader, a brash paladin 

named Edvinus, stop irritating everyone, and Hemmet thanked them with drinks from his private 

reserve for avoiding bloodshed. (He had spit in the cups beforehand, but no one contracted 

lycanthropy from it.)

Everyone came back after dark, snuck in, went back down into the basement, opened the 

door, were assaulted by nine dire rats, found a dead elf in a barrel marked with Hemmet's 

name, found a secret door leading to a short tunnel. Pried open the metal trap in the floor, 

were assaulted by an otyugh, killed it. Found a sewer chamber with a tunnel leading out 

into the sewer proper. Several party members that had vanished in the night three days ago 

reappeared, telling tales of a nightmarish realm full of dire lions, vampire ogres, shadow spirits, 

and other strange tidings.

Followed the tunnel and heard soft cries for help. Tara snuck forward and located the elven 

noblewoman, Kalishondra or “Kali.” Was attacked by a black dragon tentacle monster. When 

the tentacle monster died, the party was confronted by a were­rat Hemmet, who tried to kill 

them, but failed. PC’s found another amulet with the same mysterious symbol as the shaman’s 

amulet. Grok appeared after the party found the deed to the Inn on Hemmett's body. Party 

gave the deed to Grok, and returned to the Prince with Cali in tow. PCs met with the Prince and 

retired to bed in their suites.
