The party was awakened by servants of Archmage Shadowmoon and invited to

breakfast. Once there, the party was greeted by Prince Shinybottom, who explained that

they were currently underneath the capital city of Leafytown. He listened to their tale with

great interest, stated that he would look into the matter of this “Lord Relgin” right away. The

archmage questioned the party about the condition of his tower, particularly the library,

and seemed concerned about the robbery of the volumes dealing with conjuration magic.

Shadowmoon explained to the party that he was one of the great mages that constructed the

magical barrier that hides the elven valley from outsiders shortly after the great war and the fall

of The Fortress of the Dawn. He also asked the party to keep his existence and the existence

of the barrier secret. Festus returned the thieftrapping book to the archmage.

The party exited his secret sanctuary and emerged into the capital city of Leafytown, and Festus

parted company with them, citing other responsibilities. The Skullthorn sisters visited their

mother at the temple of Corellon Larethian, and visited their ancestral home, Skullthorn Manor,

where they were greeted by the butler, Finnigan, and their snotty cousin, Tiffany, who had

apparently been trying to run the place in the absence of Amelia. She grew very agitated when

she was told that Amelia had returned and was in the healers’ care. Freya visited the temple

of Pelor, and Emma visited the Druids’ Grove, where she impressed her fellow druids with

her improved abilities and with her experiences in Blackscale Village. Her master, Archdruid

Cressidia, taught her how to wildshape into a gorilla. She also met her arrogant rival, Crindalus.

Emma also went to The Dancing Manticore, a tavern where she enjoyed a nice dwarven

firebrandy.

Tara journeyed to the Scout and Ranger guildhall, and rekindled old friendships. Her peers

complained that there was no excitement in Leafytown and expressed serious envy of her time

with the lizardfolk. Tara spent most of the remainder of the day roaming the southern hills with

her pack, eating bunnies and deer, sleeping in the sun, and generally having a good time.

Willthilas visited the temple of Lurue, where he spent a good deal of his time donating healing

services to the needy.

Siegfried traveled to a dive tavern, the Lucky Leprechaun, where he enjoyed a dwarven

firewhiskey, and then traveled to the fighters’ college where he had been trained. He met

his old master, Thuun WolfEye, a middleaged orc with a quick laugh and a heavy drinking

problem. Siegfried helped train some barbarian trainees, and showed off some of his skills to

his master, who congratulated “Ziggy” on his new skills at trollkilling.

Siegfried, Willthilas, Emma, and Freya rejoined for dinner at Skullthorn Manor, where they

stayed the night.
