He wouldn't believe that Dennis would go missing, but if he is involved in a case that has the demon 'Satan,' then it wouldn't be surprising for Dennis to go missing. Ever since Dennis went missing, Jason was non-stop training in the basement with Jacob and even Setsuko from time to time.
Trains with Jacob when it comes to agility, strength and technique. With Setsuko, it's flexibility and it's surprising that she is happy to comply and help out without knowing why.
Which is suspicious.
Jacob would be checking files about Dennis's mission, his location and his platoon, which appears to be missing which leaves the headquarters to work furiously and cautiously.
Which is also suspicious. How can data from a secret military organization be missing as well?
There are only two conclusions that lead to one conflict. A spy purposely deleting any data and files which is rare to happen since the organization is well trusted and cooperative with one another.
Or hackers from another organization that Jacob did mention that other organizations exist as well, with their own immortals just like him and Jason, which they both lead to one conflict.
A hostile organization that can oppose a threat to Jacob and Jason along with their organization, possibly working for the famed demon 'Satan.' But just who?
Jason knocks on the door that leads to Jacob's office in the household. A classic light beige wooden door with a yellow metal knob. Nothing out of the ordinary. "Come in," Jacob calls out from the room.
Jason would open the door, revealing his office. Brown wooden desk in the middle of the room piled with documents, folders and a laptop that reveals a program that was seen in one of the headquarters ' terminals. Jacob would be on his black office chair, messy hair and his usual glasses that goes on him from time to time. Eyes are baggy, cigarette in his mouth. He taps the ashes on his cigarette on the ashtray that is next to his laptop.
It seems that he is working on Dennis's disappearance.
"Got any leads?" Jason asks, standing in front of Jacob and his desk.
"Nah," he said, cigarette dangling from his lips. "I only made some hypothesis which was about the hostile organization that could've done this, but that's it," he sighs.
"If only Nathan is here, he could handle this in a flash, he's the smart one out of all of us," he adds, rubbing his baggy eyes.
"Who's Nathan?"
"Nathan is.. My brother. The one with the glasses that you saw from the pictures. The creator of the mask, all that. You get it?"
"Yeah," Jason rubs his arm. Talking about his brothers is sensitive, it makes things awkward.
"By the way, can you manipulate and transfer your element to an object?" Jacob asks, bringing their conversation to another topic.
"To an object?"
"Yeah. If you do it to a weapon, you are transferring some of your power to that weapon,"
"What's the point of that?" Jason ask.
"When you raise the current object's particles with your power, it makes it more compacted than the original," Jacob stops to see Jason giving a blank stare, showing confusion. He sighs.
"You play games right? Think of it as a weapon enhancement. You give the weapon some magic and make it stronger."
"Oooh, I get it. Why didn't you just say that?" Jason asks, giving out a perspective of common sense.
