S1 E08 Defensive and Rage

She stepped back. Her eyes were brimming with tears of happiness. Yes he had known! But it wasn’t a hoax right? Her mind questioned her but she decided to go towards him. That three words made her heart clench for his love.

She tried to make a move but was her wrist was held by a person whose hand had a bangle. She was pleading," I just want to see him, please!" But the woman shook herhead in no. Tears were coming out of her eyes as she pleaded. I will not go.. I just want to see him..  Finally, Maya removed the hold on her hands.

Covering a few meters, Rudra was back facing her. Taking a deep breath, she ran but at the same time, he also uttered loudly as he heard something through his phone which rang," What?"

She was ready to cover the distance after seeing him..

Looking back, Vikram saw her face which was quite eager. He noticed that Maya was trying to reach out to Rudra. But Vikram's prayers were heard as Rudra didn't wait there anymore. In fact, Rudra rushed out without any other word. Without looking back! If he would have looked back, he would have seen the person whom he wanted to see...

Maya ran after him and shouted," Rudra!" But her whole voice didn't echo out as she stopped by the hold on her body by Vikram. The hold of Vikram tightened around her and to stop her from wriggling, he made her body collide with his back. Tightening the hold, he shouted," What was that? What if Rudra saw you? He would have killed you!"

She couldn't take the torture his actions were giving her and as a result, she pushed him and shouted," He came to see me."

With raging anger, he cornered her to the stony interiors and asked," Do you love me or him?"

Her body froze and she started seeing things. She started understanding what it was! Maya was baffled completely and she knew that her love towards Rudra was depicted in front of him. But with Vikram in front of her, she couldn't let her acting go to waste either! Anything could happen!

"I want to know it today... Tell me! " He shouted in his hoarse and terrifying voice.

"I am sorry Vikram. I don't know. (She started pulling her hairs in frustration. She started moving from there) I am falling for his words. I hate myself for falling into his trap again and again." Maya started to cry and dragged herself down the wall.

Vikram knelt and thought as he tried to calm her," Rudra, you have hurt Maya so much but I will kill you."

Vikram pulled her into a hug and she hugged him tightly grabbing his shirt into her fists which made him happy. He kept on rubbing her back to soothe her while thinking of Rudra. She heard the footsteps approaching towards them. Keeping her head on his shoulders, her sobs grew slower and turned into heavy breaths as she saw Nilanjana Roy (MJ's mother) standing there with a smirk.

Honking his car amidst hundreds of cars in the traffic, he was angry. Crashing his head on the headrest of the seat, he closed his eyes momentarily gulping down the lump from his throat. When he heard a few honks from behind, he saw that the traffic light had already turned green. Changing the gear, he drove.

Halting the car, he unbuckled himself and entered the police station and asked," Where is MJ? "

"He is in the investigation room. He is being questioned by the inspector. "
