As Rudra entered the key into his keyhole, he couldn't open it because it was locked from inside. Exhausted, he leaned against the door and knocked on it a few times until Ananya opened the door. His legs faltered and she asked if he was okay to which he shook his head in negative and took her into a hug. The hug was so tight which made Ananya understand the depth of what he was going through. Rubbing his back, she soothed him until she said," MJ is here.."
That made Rudra release the hold. Entering inside, he was completely overwhelemed! He wanted to see his father but not so suddenly. Of course, he would confront him but who cares?! If it's now, its now!
But no! Not now! Maya could be in trouble! His aim could be in trouble! No! As he approached, he gave MJ a small smile. As Rudra sat down, he gave a smile and asked," What's up, dad?" He gritted his teeth at the last word!
Keeping the cup of tea on the table beside him, MJ asked," Why did you shift to an apartment?"
Rudra lied in a confident voice," Aunty (Ananya's mom) had gone to Pune for some work before she shifted to Dubai permanently. Ananya didn't want to stay alone there. So, we thought to stay together until we moved on!"
MJ just hummed and conveyed his opinion," You could have stayed in our house. I wouldn't have opposed it!"
This time Ananya spoke stressing the last part of the sentence," We wanted to stay together for some time in a place only we, ourselves mattered."
After a few minutes of chatting and conversation, MJ went back home. MJ was happy as Rudra spoke to him normally but he also knew that it could change anytime and what if he was also with her? Love and Hatred have their own extremities.
As Rudra retired to the living room with his cup of coffee from the kitchen, he saw Ananya looking outside the balcony which was attached to the living room. She was disturbed but who wouldn't be?
Ananya spoke as Rudra stood beside her," You told me that Antara aunty had said something other than the conversation you disclosed to me!"
Rudra just sighed and revealed," That day, she revealed the whole thing but in a twisted way. She displayed Maya as a mental patient who tried to seduce MJ. She told me that Maya had drugged MJ to his bed and made her pregnant!"
"Chee! " Ananya remarked in disgust and spoke after a few seconds of silence," Why didn't you believe her then?"
Rudra replied," I had believed her but when I had recovered Maya's phone, it had a recording of mom confessing herself about her part in the whole Saga!"
"Maya should complete her saga for her baby!" Ananya remarked in her subconscious voice.
"Are you supporting Maya? She killed people just for a baby! She is so obsessive about her unborn baby! " Rudra remarked in a sheap tone remembering about Rishi but Ananya's thread of patience broke upon his insensitive friend,
"Just a baby Rudra? It was her baby! It was a life that was growing inside her, inside her womb! You men won't understand it because you can't get pregnant! And think about it! If your baby was killed like that, inside Maya's womb, will you forgive that person? Henh?"
After a pause, she continued explaining with her hands as she turnes towards Rudra," I haven't experienced anything as a mother. I haven't heard my baby's heartbeat or seen sonography of my baby but as a woman, I can tell you that those are the precious moments in a woman's life! " As she spoke, she took a break and continued to speak in defence,
