23.

With a white churidar clad on her, she looked humble. Entering the temple where Maya had been before, she held her black bag closely. She walked in between the heavy and thick crowd to reach the priest whom she presumed knew everything.

Walking up to a priest, they started conversing. In the end, the priest put a tilak on her head and she walked not before bowing before the priest.

As she walked out of the crowd, she walked further with a tilak on her forehead. Rewinding the instructions she had got, she went to the place and looked for a person. Finding a person next to the boat, she asked him to help her and he happily helped her to get onto the boat.

At present, she was above the waters in a boat. She closed her eyes for a few seconds to bask in the sacred river above which she was floating. She was being rowed above the Ganges which originated from the Himalayas. Hearing a 'madam', she opened her eyes and looked down. It was the perfect spot for her to deposit a part of her.

Picking the small earthen pots which were covered with a red cloth, she removed one cloth and started to pour the ashes into the water. Her lips didn't stop praying and in her tradition, she had to pour these ashes for their souls to fully depart in peace and stature. After she poured the ash, she lowered herself and dipped the pot in water and allowed it to flow in the direction of different waves and currents.

She did the same with the second pot. As she sat down, she just said in a broken soft voice," Let's go ." The driver obliged and took her to the starting point from where she had begun her journey.

Helping her to get out of the boat with his hand, she gave the man 1000 rupees and his eyes widened. She just blinked her eyes in assurance and went. Both the souls were happy! Maya was happy that she finished the final rites and the man was happy because he was a person who just used to receive 30-100 rupees.

Walking away, she entered her car and drove away in silence. As she switched the radio on, she had to stop the car at an instant. What she heard was the wedding bells of the Ruan Girl. The Radio Jockey was giving her full biography!

(Next Day)

The Roy mansion was getting ready for marriage. A marriage which was supposed to happen 3 months back! Yesterday, the arrangements had started and everyone was working in full swing. It was almost done.

Starting from the decorations to arrangements, Rudra took care of it. He wanted to compensate for whatever happened 3 months back and this was the perfect time to regain all the moments which he had lost with Ananya.

He didn't decline Antara's hand in preparing a few things because of Ananya. He didn't want her to stay away from decorating just because of his hatred towards Antara. He also double-checked what she had done. He was perfectly fine after the theatrical sequence.

As everything was set, today was the day! It was the same date and the same day but it was different. As the priest asked for the bride and the groom, Rudra and Ananya descended the stairs. Rudra was clad in his pink sherwani and Ananya looked gorgeous as a bride. The red colour had indeed suited her.

Not leaving her hands, Rudra heard the priest saying," Now you have to take your seats after doing a Namaste to grant their blessings!"

Ananya gave a folded hand Namaste to a few people who had gathered there. Not more than 10 people were present in the venue.

Rudra made Ananya comfortable and everyone were in Aww with their relationship! After she did a Namaste, he helped her to sit down. Going next to her, he also kneeled!
