~~ One year later~~

"I don't think I'll get a job at this school, they already have multiple history teachers. I'd be no use to them" I sigh as Tyler hands me a cup of coffee and sits on the stool next to me in our apartment. "They could use me as an english teacher, but that's not even my specialty and I'm sure they have plenty of those too."
"Or, maybe they called you for an interview because they actually like you." He suggests.
"Stop filling me with false hope Ty."
He gives me a serious look, "Stop being so unsure of yourself. Then I won't have to." I lean up and kiss him, "I've gotta go to work. Please don't stress yourself out."
"I won't." I reply, straightening his shirt collar.
"I love you."
"Love you too." He grabs his car keys and walks out of the apartment soon after, leaving me to finish getting ready.
I take about thirty more minutes to get dressed and hair done for my interview at a number one high school in Florida. It took me about twenty five minutes to get there and when I did, students were just filing into the school. I walked through the large entrance and into the office. "Ah, you must be Addison, it's nice to meet you, I'm Victoria Wilde, the principal." A friendly woman says, shaking my hand.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you." I reply.
"Well, let's get started."
After an interview, it was well into the school's second period and she offered to take me on a tour. As we walk around the school, Victoria explains to me everything about how the school runs and what the teacher's schedules look like. "And here is the junior AP U.S. History classroom, this will be yours, if you'll be willing to take it."
"You mean you want me on your faculty?"
Victoria smiles brightly, "You're recommendations and everything else are fantastic, and we are actually in need of a junior history teacher."
"Well I would love to."
"Let me introduce you to one of the classes then." She opens the door and all the students turn their heads to us. "Guys, this is Miss Andrews, she's looking into being the new APUSH teacher here. Does anyone have any questions?"
A girl in the far corner raises her hand quickly and I nod at her, "Where are you from?"
"Tallahassee, I moved down here to live with my boyfriend." Once I reply, seven guys' hands drop and I laugh, knowing their exact question. Another guy raises his hand and I let him ask me his question.
"How old are you?" Victoria laughs and shakes her head.
"Twenty four." I reply, the kid smirks and eyeballs his friends.
"Well, thank you for giving us some of your time." Victoria says to the teacher and leads me back out of the room. "So, there are some papers for you and me to sign, it'll be a pleasure having you here."

I walk out of the school after signing contracts and papers for my new job. I call Tyler as I pull out of the school and head back to the apartment. "Hey Ty." I say.
"Hey, how did it go?"
"Well, I got the job!" I shout excitedly into the phone.
"That's great baby! I'm so happy for you. I have something to tell you also."
"What is it?"
"They are releasing the K-9 dogs for us today, we're bringing them home. There's a problem though."
