4 years later
"Daddy!" Bailey screams.
Jughead jumps up out of bed, running into her bedroom. "Angel, what's wrong?" He asks.
"I had a bad dream." She says as he pulls her into his lap.
"What happened?"
"You and mommy left me."
"We would never leave you, Angel."
"You're leaving me tomorrow."
"Yes, but only for the weekend. We won't be far and you love Aunt Polly."
Jughead looks down at his daughter who has fallen back to sleep and smiles. He lays her back down and covers her with a blanket before going back to his room. Betty rolls over at smiles at him.
"What happened?" She asks.
"Bad dream."
"What time do we have to go over for Jellybeans grad?" She asks.
"Four o'clock. Then Polly will pick Bailey up.
"Sounds good."After Jellybean's graduation ceremony Betty and Jughead went home.
"I can't believe she's getting married next month. I mean, she had just started high school when we got married and now...wow." He breathes.
"I know, it's crazy." Betty smiles.
"Did you hear what was on the news this morning?"
"No, what's that?" Betty asks.
"They're talking about legalizing divorce."
"Oh..."
"Yeah, I think that will be good, don't you?"
"Mhm."
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"Nothing, everything fine." She smiles
"Baby." He says, resting a hand gently on her cheek.
"Do you want to get a divorce?"
"N-no. Do you?"
She shakes her head. "No, I love you."
"I love you too."
She smiles at him.
"I was worried there for a second." He chuckles, kissing her.
"Juggie?"
"Yeah?"
"I want another baby."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah, don't you?"
"Yeah, I just... don't you think it's too soon?"
"No, I want a friend for Bailey."
"Okay...why don't we start with a puppy?"
"Juggie, please."
"Betty, I know that Ronnie being pregnant has you missing babies, but you can visit hers. You were miserable when you were pregnant."
"But it was worth it."
"Yes, but Betty, I'm happy with just the one baby."
"Juggie, she's not a baby anymore."
Jughead sighs. "Okay, but I still want to get Bailey a puppy."
"Deal." Betty smiles, kissing him. "Thank you. I love you."
"I love you too. Let's go get a puppy."
