"I always recommend this breed of dog for kids. They may not have a lot of energy, so you will have to take them on walks to get in their exercise, but they can sniff out anybody you're looking for. So if your kid is hiding somewhere, you can just tell the puppy to go find them. Our Basset hounds are all up to date on their shots and fully trained."
"Awe, Juggie. Look at how cute he is." Betty smiles, crouching down and looking at one of the hounds.
"We'll take him." Jughead smiles. "
Bailey laughs, playing with Jane, Juniper and Dagwood. Betty walks into the house and Bailey smiles at her.
"Mommy!" She exclaims, running up to Betty.
"Are you ready to go home?"
"No." Bailey's bottom lip pushes out.
"Mommy and daddy have a surprise for you."
Bailey smiles and waves goodbye to her friends. Betty and Bailey get home and Jughead walks out of the kitchen. Bailey runs into Jughead's arms. He picks her up and spins her around, before setting her back down on the floor.
"What's my surprise?" Bailey asks, causing Jughead to chuckle.
"Come into your room."
He leads Bailey into her bedroom, with Betty taking a video close behind them. Bailey walks in and sees the puppy curled up on Bailey's bed. Bailey squeals, jumping onto the bed and sitting next to the puppy. Jughead sits on the opposite side and lifts the dog into his daughter's lap.
"What's his name?" Bailey asks.
"You get to name him."
"Trusty, like in Lady and the tramp." Bailey smiles, referring to her favourite movie.
"Trusty it is." Jughead smiles and Trusty looks up, licking her chin.
"Let's go get him everything he needs from the store and a name tag." Best says, ending the video and sending it to Veronica and Cheryl.
They went out and got him...The name is Trusty
