"Ahhh, A Sterling. This is a surprise. I never thought I would see one up here."

As Y/n was walking into the room full of students, this was the first time the platinum haired boy first laid eyes on this beautiful y/h/c haired girl. Wow...she's...perfect. This boy thinks to himself. With his eyes, he followed her, walking up to the front of the room, going up to the sorting hat.
Draco Malfoy was in deep thought about this new girl until he was cut off by the voice of Dumbledore.
"We have a new student joining us. Everyone please welcome Y/n Sterling." The 4 tables filled with students loudly cheer and clap for her.
Y/n loves this attention because she never got much attention from her family. Unfortunately, they were always busy and never had much time for her. That's why she was sent to Hogwarts. Her very famous parents were too occupied with there own work, she was never taught magic the right way.
Y/n took a seat in front of all the students and Dumbledore lightly placed the sorting hat on top of her head.
"Ahhh, A Sterling. This is a surprise. I never thought I would see one up here." The hat spoke to itself.
"You seem to have all the qualities of each house....I think you will succeed most in....SLITHERYN!" The whole entire room raged with cheer and excitement.
Draco's face lit up when y/n was put in his house. He started to cheer loudly and stood up with the rest of the house. He knew he couldn't feel or show to much excitement or it would make him seem weak. He was always taught to keep his emotions inside of him.
Y/n walking over the the table on her far right and sat down right in between a pretty black haired girl and a handsome brown eyed boy.
Draco was examining her from across the table. "My name is Pansy, It's great to meet you, I've herd a lot about you" Pansy put out her hand to reach for y/n. They shook hands the boy said, "I'm Blaise, I think we are going to be good friends y/n." Y/n shook his hand aswell.
"Its pathetic...you guys sucking up to a Sterling." The platinum haired boy spat at Pansy and Blaise.
"The names Draco Malfoy." He put out his hand for y/n to shake.
Everyone knew how famous the sterlings were and how much power they hold. It's not a surprise people would want to be Y/n's friend.
Draco never liked to admit what he was feeling. Even if Y/n was the most attractive girl he has ever seen. He won't admit it.
Y/n and the others talked for a while about what was going on at the time in hogwarts. They warned y/n about a boy named harry potter... they said he was an awful person.
They talked about each other's families while Draco sat there with a sour look on his face as usual.
As much as he wanted to talk to y/n and get to know her. He didn't want to seem weak. don't show weakness. Draco constantly reminded himself in his mind.
"Everyone please make your way back to your dorms." Dumbledore announced as students were leaving their seats.
Y/n rises from her seat to find her room. On her way to the girls dorms she bumps into a boy about her hight. He's wearing circle glasses and wore a red and gold tie.
"Pardon me." He says. Y/n knew who this boy was.
"If you don't mind me asking, are you Harry Potter?" Y/n says in the nicest way, trying not to seem weird.
"Yes, in fact I am." Harry answers. "You are the new girl, y/n Sterling. Correct?" Harry puts out his hand to meet with mine.
As Harry and y/n chat about the school. Y/n wonders what's so bad about him. He's a very sweet boy. Y/n thinks to herself.
