Why didn't he mention her? Y/n kept asking herself.

It was the next morning and it was very awkward between y/n and Pansy.

"Where are you off to so early, Sterling." Pansy adjusts her coffee mug in her hands.

"I have detention...with Draco." Y/n made sure Pansy herd her. "I didn't know about that." Pansy says.

"Shouldn't you know since you guys talk a lot?" Y/n questions Pansy. Pansy rolls her eyes.

The tension between them was rising quickly.

Y/n walks into Professor Snapes classroom and sees Draco sitting up in the front corner.

"Hey Malfoy." "Oh Hi Sterling." Draco makes room for Y/n next to him by moving his books.

"I have a question" Y/n takes out her books. "What's up?"

"Pansy kinda mentioned last night, you fancy her. Is that true?"

"Bloody hell! I-"Draco's face had a look of disgust. "Sh!" The teacher interrupts.

In a lower tone Draco explains, "I do
not fancy her. She has been a tiny bit obsessed with me since our first year together."

Draco liked the attention from her. He will take any attention he can get.

"Okay" Y/n says chuckling.

Y/n was relieved Draco was not into Pansy.
Draco was curious why y/n asked him that.

To break the awkward silence Draco points out Y/n's ring. "Wow, That ring is insane. I love it."

"Thank you. My grandma gave it to me as a gift but the stone fell out."

"That's unfortun-" "Shh!" The teacher cuts Draco off.

Y/n gets out of detention and goes out to get lunch. "Hey...over here!" A boy in the distance shouts.

"Harry! Ron! Hermione!" Y/n walks over to them.

"I herd you had detention with Malfoy...how was that." Ron asks.

"Surprisingly not bad... He's a completely different person around me."

"That's a surprise, he's always a douche." Hermione takes a bite out of her sandwich.

The table laughs and started working on their herbology homework.

Y/n walks into the slitheryn common room after class. "Y/n!" Draco is sitting there eating a green apple. "Want a bite?" he says holding his hand out.

"Why not" Y/n takes the apple from Draco's hand and bites into the other side. As she hands it back y/n says, "Hey...you never call me by my first name."

"Well, we are friends aren't we. I call my friends by their first name."

Y/n wasn't sure if she was being friend zoned or he was just being nice. She for sure didn't want to be friend zoned.

Draco noticed y/n looked tired. She had bags under her eyes and messy hair, but she still managed to look beautiful Draco thought.

"You okay, you look exhausted" Draco leaned backwards onto the couch. Y/n didn't want him to know how hard she was working to catch up. How she hasn't slept in days because she was trying to master every spell. She never liked to show her weakness. She was always taught to look powerful and strong.

"Yeah..I'm great, just didn't get good sleep last night." Y/n said fixing her hair.

Draco can tell she was lying. Draco tried to reassure Y/n that she can tell him what's wrong. He looked into her y/e/c eyes and placed his hand on her kneecap.

The way Draco put his hand on her kneecap made y/n feel something she has never felt before. She felt as if her stomach was a cage and there were millions of butterflies flying around. Continuing to stare into Draco's grey eyes she could feel her heartbeat getting heavier.

Y/n flinched and got up because of this unknown feeling. She has never felt anything like this before.
