"Would you like to go together? I know we just met but it's better then going with no one.
Y/n gets to class early because she doesn't want to run in to Draco. There was a seat empty next to Ron so she sat down.
"I have an idea...You should ask Hermione to the ball." Y/n took out her books. "Hermione?" Ron asks.
"Yes! She's sitting over there, go sit next to her. This is just an idea though...no pressure"
Ron walks over to Hermione and ask her to the dance. Ron looks back at y/n excited and she winks at both of them. She said yes.
"May I sit here?" An attractive dirty blonde boy walks up to y/n. He is wearing a huddle puff robe.
"I-um Yes you can." Y/n stutters.
"My names Cedric Diggory." "I'm Y/n Sterling." They shake hands.
"Woah a sterling, it's a pleasure."
Draco sees Cedric as a threat. Of course he was still furious at y/n but that doesn't mean he wants her talking to others. He shot a dirty look from across the room.
At the end of a class the teacher made an announcement. "Before you leave the annual Yule Ball is tomorrow. Please do not fight over your dates."
Y/n sighs into her book. "You okay?" Cedric asks. "I need to find a date" She explains.
"Would you like to go together? I know we just met but it's better then going with no one. Also you can make that blonde one jealous, I see the way you look at him." he gestures to Draco.
"That's actually a great idea, also Draco means nothing to me." Y/n lied. She cared about Draco.

She got back to her room and Pansy was there. Y/n immediately grabbed Pansys hand. "Where did you get this!"
"Oh this gift, Draco gave if to me." Pansy lied.
At this point y/n didn't even care about the ring. She was so annoying by the fact Pansy had possession of it.

The following day, Y/n stated getting ready for the ball.

She got all ready and it was time to leave. Y/n normally doesn't wear bright colors and rarely wears makeup so this is a huge change for her. It's way out of her comfort zone.
She met up with Cedric in the courtyard.
When Cedric saw Y/n, his jaw dropped. He thought she was beautiful. "You look amazing." He takes her hand and kissed it.
We meet up with Ron and Hermione who looked beautiful together. As well as Harry and Cho.
As a group we walk to the ballroom and sit at our table. Hermione and Y/n get up to use the bathrooms.
"How did you know." Hermione asks. "I see the way you look at Ron, There is no way you just want to be his friend."
"Thank you Y/n" They pull each other in for a tight hug. After we fix each other up and get ready to go back.
Y/n opens the door to Pansy and Draco holding hands. Draco was wearing his usual black suit and Pansy was wearing a dark green to match the ring she stole.
Draco turns his head to see y/n standing there. He almost didn't recognize her. His hand went weak when he saw her and it was dropped out of Pansy's hand.
He took a deep breath continuing to gaze at her and his eyes lit up. He needed to be with her.
Y/n tried to walk away but she couldn't. She felt stuck. She wanted to look into his eyes forever. She was about to say something until Hermione pulled her back to the table.
Their tables near each other and their seats were facing each other so they could see each other across the room. The announcer starting giving the beginning speech's.
Y/n kept looking over at Draco. The sexual tension between them was so high.
