The five of them had the entire rest of the day by themselves as the students of Hogwarts wouldn't arrive until five in the evening. Excitedly, Gianna woke Sarah up by jumping on her bed while Kiara continued to throw pillows at them.

"Wingardium Leviosa," Gianna mumbled and managed to levitate the pillow, throwing it back at Kiara.

"What the heck!" Kiara groaned, sitting up.

"Scared to break a nail?" she retorted.

Kiara narrowed her eyes at Gianna and lunged at her, causing Gianna to scream. It was a few seconds until the three girls heard tumbling down the stairs to their dorm. They looked at each other and decided to run out to see what the commotion was. JJ and Pope were laying on top of each other at the bottom of the girls' staircase.

"Mr Maybank and Mr Heyward," a stern voice said from the common room, "Gryffindor house does not allow boys in the girls' dormitory. The stairs turn into a slide, as you have found out."

Gianna ran down the stairs to see none other than Professor Minvera McGonagall. Her eyes widened at the stern witch, in complete awe of her presence.

"Ah, girls," she said in a sweet voice, but her face stayed blank, "Professor Dumbledore has told me of the five of you— only he and I know. It should stay as such. Miss Routledge, it is quite imperative that you not tell anyone what you know as only Dumbledore knows."

"Uh— yes, ma'am," Gianna said in a small voice. It was not like Gianna to be so meek and caused the other four to snap their attention to her.

"Enjoy your free day, I shall see you in the Great Hall no later than five fifteen," McGonagall said before leaving. Just as she reached the portrait hole, she turned back to face the quintet, "and Mr Heyward, I expect you meet Professor Flitwick as he is your Head of House for you are not apart of Godric Gryffindor's house."

The rest of the day ended up with Sarah and Gianna exploring the castle while the three Pogues hung around outside, brandishing their wands and roughhousing. It was usual for the pair to hang out alone for they only stayed with each other's company.

"Do you ever miss her?" Gianna suddenly asked Sarah as they waited for the moving stairs to stop moving.

"Who?"

"Kiara."

Sarah made no acknowledgement of the question as she walked up the stairs to the fifth floor corridor. Gianna rolled her eyes, knowing this was Sarah's way of ignoring her.

"Sarah, we're not going to do this! I just want an answer," Gianna groaned.

"I do, okay?" Sarah burst, turning on Gianna. "Probably the same way you miss JJ!"

"I'm only asking because this would be the time to fix us!" she said defensively.

Sarah scoffed and turned back around, going down one of the staircases. Gianna went to follow, but the staircase moved, with Sarah still on it, not allowing Gianna to get on.

"Sarah, you know I'm right! We only have each other here! We may not be friends with them anymore, but it's only us. We're in a new world, under new rules, and have no clue what the hell is going on," Gianna shouted across the moving stairs. "It's not Pogues versus Kooks anymore, it's Pogues and Kooks at this point. We've only got us!"

"Gianna, do you really believe that?" Sarah called.

"Do you really not, Sarah?" Gianna responded. Looking up at one of the clocks on the wall, she saw it was nearly five o'clock meaning students would be arriving any moment now. "Meet me in the Gryffindor common room. I'll get JJ, Pope, and Kiara."
