Author's Point of view :

Chanyeol peeked over his desk through the sleek glass wall separating him from the CEO's office. His eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed the usually stern and aloof Taehyung grinning like a schoolgirl, utterly absorbed in his phone. Chanyeol blinked rapidly, even rubbing his eyes to ensure he wasn't imagining things. Taehyung was still there, grinning from ear to ear. Could this really be the same cold, arrogant boss who ruled the office with an iron fist?

This morning's incident with Mr. Shin's daughter flashed through Chanyeol's mind. Taehyung had unexpectedly canceled an important meeting and personally escorted her out.Chanyeol had been puzzled all day. Were they dating? The idea seemed absurd, but the smile on Taehyung's face now added to the mystery.

Chanyeol shook his head, recalling the conversation he had overheard. It had sounded professional, not intimate.

But then, what could explain Taehyung's uncharacteristic behavior? The possibility of a new romantic interest seemed increasingly likely. Chanyeol's curiosity grew, and he couldn't help but wonder who this mysterious person was that had made the ice-cold CEO melt into a smiling, almost boyish figure.

Chanyeol snapped out of his thoughts when he heard someone clear their throat. He turned to his side and saw the manager standing there, looking at him with puzzled eyes.

"Umm, Mr. Park, is Mr. Kim free? I need t—"

"Are you seeing the CEO smiling too?" Chanyeol interrupted, pointing towards the glass wall. The manager followed Chanyeol's gaze and his eyes widened in surprise. There, in the CEO's office, was Taehyung, still grinning at his phone like a teenager in love. The manager's jaw dropped slightly as he took in the unusual sight.

"Is he... really smiling?" the manager whispered, disbelief coloring his tone.

Chanyeol nodded, equally astonished. "Yeah, and it's not just a smile. He's practically glowing."

The manager shook his head slowly as if trying to shake off a dream. "I've never seen him like this. Not even close."

"Me neither," Chanyeol replied. "First, he cancels a big meeting to take Mr. Shin's daughter somewhere, and now this. Something's definitely up," he murmurs to himself

The manager leaned in closer, his curiosity piqued. "You think he's got a girlfriend?"

Chanyeol shrugged, still staring at the uncharacteristically cheerful Taehyung. "Maybe. But whoever it is, they've got to be something special to make him smile like that."

Inside his sleek, modern office, Taehyung was grinning from ear to ear as he scrolled through Nabi's Instagram account. Her posts were aesthetically pleasing, filled with pictures of the clothes she designed, awards she received, and snapshots from parties with her parents. Her follower count was decent, and from what he could tell, there was no hint of a boyfriend history. But one name kept popping up—Sehun.

He appeared in most of her highlights, often hanging out with her. Was he her boyfriend? A secret one, perhaps? The thought hit Taehyung like a punch to the gut. His smile vanished instantly, replaced by a look of shock and anger.

With a growl of frustration, Taehyung tossed his phone onto the table. His anger boiling over, he grabbed the nearest object—a heavy paperweight—and hurled it across the room, where it crashed into the wall with a resounding thud.

He sighed heavily, trying to rein in his emotions.

Without wasting another moment, Taehyung stormed out of his office. In the hallway, he found Chanyeol and the head manager standing together, both looking startled by the noise.

Taehyung's eyes narrowed, and he raised an eyebrow at them, daring them to question him.

Chanyeol cleared his throat nervously. "Is everything alright, Mr. Kim?"

Taehyung's gaze was steely as he replied, "Clear my schedule for the rest of the day. I have something important to take care of." Without waiting for a response, he turned on his heel and marched towards the elevator, leaving his bewildered staff in his wake.

Inside the elevator, Taehyung's frustration boiled over. He paced back and forth, his face tight with anger. He dialed a number quickly and pressed the phone to his ear.

When the call connected, Taehyung's voice was harsh and commanding. "I need her whole history now!" he snapped, his voice sharp. He tapped his foot impatiently, the sound echoing in the small space, showing just how worked up he was.

A week later...

Taehyung's Point of view :

I smiled as I walked through the hall, feeling a sense of excitement and control. I made a call, my voice low and steady. "She's coming here tonight. You're 100% sure?"

"Yes, boss. Her whole family is coming. I just saw them getting into the car!" came the reply from the other end.

"The work should be done tonight," I said, hanging up the call. A week—a whole week! I'd been on cloud nine when I found out she was single. Even if she wasn't, I would've dealt with her so-called boyfriend.

Speaking of which, the party hosted by Mr. Min, also known as Min Yoongi, was the perfect opportunity. His company had reached a milestone, and as a good friend of Yoongi hyung, I made sure to get the Shin family invited. Nabi would definitely be there, especially since Yoongi Hyung's fiancée is a renowned fashion designer. Nabi, being a huge fan, couldn't miss it.

Everything was falling into place. My people would have her room covered, and cameras set up. Tonight, I was going to make my move and ensure everything went according to plan.

I heard a familiar voice and turned to see Yoongi hyung and his fiancée standing a short distance away. Yoongi's face lit up with a warm smile as he approached me.

"Oh, Taehyung-iee!" he called out, Beside him stood his fiancée. I smiled and moved forward to give him a small hug.

Yoongi leaned in close and murmured, just loud enough for me to hear, "I need a valid reason for forcing me to invite the Shin family, Taehyung. I'm done being the cupid for your brother-in-law and now you."

I chuckled softly, maintaining my smile. "Hyung, you know I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important," I replied, my voice equally low.

"Important, huh?" he said with a sarcastic drop in his tone, raising an eyebrow at me.
