Yoongi leaned in close and murmured, just loud enough for me to hear, "I need a valid reason for forcing me to invite the Shin family, Taehyung. I'm done being the cupid for your brother-in-law and now you."

I chuckled softly, maintaining my smile. "Hyung, you know I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important," I replied, my voice equally low.

"Important, huh?" he said with a sarcastic drop in his tone, raising an eyebrow at me.

He slowly pulled back and looked at his fiancée, who was watching us curiously.

"Finally, I meet you, Noona," I said while bowing to her respectfully.

She smiled warmly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and kindness.

"It's nice to meet you too, Taehyung," she replied, her voice gentle. "I've heard a lot about you."

I nodded, glancing at Yoongi hyung, who shrugged nonchalantly. 

His fiancée continued, "You know, the way you've reached the top at such a young age is impressive," she stated, shaking her head in admiration.

"Oh, Noona! Actually, a friend of mine is coming to this party, and she is a die-hard fan of yours. Would you mind if I bring her to meet you?" I asked, my tone earnest and hopeful.

Just the thought of Nabi being here, her eyes twinkling while talking to Noona, made me feel giddy inside. Noona smiled warmly. "Of course, Taehyung. I'd love to meet her," she said, her eyes kind and inviting.

"Thank you, Noona. She'll be thrilled," I replied, my voice filled with genuine appreciation.

The party was in full swing, the hall filled with chatter and laughter. Elegant decorations adorned the space, and soft music played in the background. I kept an eye on the entrance, waiting for the moment Nabi would walk in.

Thinking of her made my heart race. Finally, I saw her. She stepped in, looking stunning in a beautiful green grown, her eyes scanning the room with a combination of excitement and curiosity. Her family followed closely behind, blending in with the crowd. I felt an urge to approach her, but one of my business partners called out to me.

I sighed, glancing back at her. She was talking to her mother, looking comfortable and at ease. Reluctantly, I let her mingle at the party and walked away with the business partner, my mind still fixated on the moment I would finally get to talk to her.

I was talking to more people who were approaching me, making me frustrated. Gosh, why now? But I kept looking around, searching for her. When our gazes met, I saw a flicker of recognition in her eyes. I smiled, giving her a small nod, and excused myself from the man beside me. As I approached, she smiled back, a hint of shyness in her expression.

"Hey," I said casually, trying to appear nonchalant. "Where is Mr. Shin?" I asked, glancing around as if I wasn't completely focused on her. I needed to show that I wasn't overly excited, even though inside, I was anything but calm. She looked around briefly before answering, "He's over there, talking to some friends."

I nodded, pretending to be interested in the information. "Good, good," I replied. "I hope you're enjoying the party so far."
