Chapter 14: The last moments.

Anika didn't speak anything, Actually, she was speechless when shivaay managed to get figi back in Naina's life, And the way she consoled him was still playing in her eyes. She never saw shivaay so close to Naina. Is that all he needs? A break? A trailer to their separation? Why can't he tried to understand when she was there next to him. Anika didn't talk but hugged naina who crawled to her. She didn't even bother to look at him. She was clear from the beginning that she will never expect anything from him but when he's doing like this, Anger rages out like a volcano in her heart. 

He expects her to talk something about that, If she starts, He was ready to go any extent to win her back, But she didn't react to anything. They left both kids in the home and made their way straight to the graveyard where Sathyajit Trivedi's body taken to. Anika was late. When the priest asks shivaay to burn his corpse, He looked at Anika for permission. She nodded at him. He did the last ritual in the name of his grandson-in-law. Anika didn't cry, There were no tears left for him in her heart. She couldn't resist herself thinking about her grandfather and her last few arguments with him. 

"Daddaji, Please relieve me from this bond." - She pleaded before him when the things changed overnight in her life. Shivaay's Parents and Grandmother's suspect finally came to an end when she said yes for the DNA test to them when Naina was just three months old. She left with no energy and courage when they got a picture of her with Nivansh which eventually led to their suspect.

But things started to change when shivaay had an accident and admitted in the hospital in a very serious stage. Everything started to blackout when the doctors said only a 10% chance to get him alive. Anika was devasted. But her condition got, even more, worse when they blamed her 2-year-old naina for his condition. His mother's mom is too superstitious, She put the entire blame on Naina and Naina's horoscope for shivaay's condition.

When Shivaay became fine and got his consciousness back, She thought everything will lay in peace after that, But she realized she was wrong when she found Naina missing in her room. Shivaay, Om, and Rudru were not in the country, They were in Japan during that time to sign a contract. Only Gauri was there in the house. Anika searched for her like a mad around the city, She tried to call shivaay and convey the news to him but he didn't attend the call neither om and rudy did. She left with no choice other than searching for her alone along with Gauri who got married to om very recently then. She called Rakesh, Her grandfather's Personal assistant having no options in her hand. 

He used his influence and with the help of a Commissioner friend, They searched for Naina for the whole two days And finally found that she was kidnapped by nobody but her own grandparents and great grandmother kidnapped her from the house and they admitted her in the ashram in Mysore as an orphan. Gauri and Anika rushed to Mysore and relieved her. Anika couldn't able to believe her own fate, What else written in her fate. 

Her 2-year-old almost stopped to talk, Neither she responds nor she sleeps. Over then, She decided, Whatever happens, She will save her daughter from that hell. She walked straight to her grandfather's house with the hope that he will understand her then after knowing what had happened with her daughter. But she was again wrong. 

"I don't relieve you from this bond for these silly things. How will you expect me to relieve you from the contract before giving me a grandson." - He asked her without any mercy. 

"But she's also your granddaughter." - Anika pleaded him. He signed disbelief and looked at her. 

"I can permit you to divorce him. But I can't relieve you from the bond. Divorce him and Remarry. If you're okay with this, I will stay by your side." - Her grandfather said He had no sign of emotions in his tone. She was broken, Beyond repair. She felt like an orphan then. On the one hand, She can't think anyone else other than her husband in her life. And eventually, she can't stay with him with her daughter, Anything can happen to her daughter at any moment.
