''A young adult, whose name is entirely up to you, decided to work as a nanny at night to help with her collegue fees. Jeffrey has been desperate to find someone to aid with the kids since he's mostly out for work ever after he and his wife had an ugly divorce. He posts an ad in a website and the young adult happens to come across it. She easily gets the job and for the few time they spend together whenever Jeffrey comes home from work, she found herself developing feelings for him and the same goes to Jeffrey''
*Two weeks ago*
''Hello, this is Jeffrey'' a husky voice spoke from the other end of the phone.
''Hi! My name is Natasha and I'm calling regarding the nanny job you posted a few days ago. Is it still available?'' I was so nervous, I really needed that job. There had to be a way for me to pay my college fees, I didn't want my parents to do it for me anymore, I felt so bad for them. I had always wanted to focus only and only my studies during college and I knew it was going to be hard to study during the day and work at night, but it had to be done.
''Oh, finally, thank God that ad wasn't in vain. Yes, it's still available'' the man spoke, sounding desperate. ''I suppose you live in New York?''
''Yes, I do''.
''I am in quite desperate need for a nanny so could you meet me tomorrow morning? I know it's Saturday tomorrow so I understand if you can't''.
''Yes, of course, no problem'' I had nothing to do anyway, so I didn't mind that I was going on a job interview on a weekend day. ''Where and what time?''.
We decided where and when to meet and as the next day came, I felt nervous. It was just a job interview and the guy seemed desperate, which made me positive that I was going to get the job anyway, yet nervousness took over me. As I stepped into Starbucks, I looked around and saw someone waving.
I walked towards him, smiling. ''Jeffrey?'' I asked.
''That's me. Natasha?'' he asked back and I nodded. ''Please'' he motioned for me to sit and I took a seat in front of him. He had black glasses on, a simple black t-shirt and dark blue jeans. His hair was dark, a few white strands here and there, same with his beard. ''So...as you've noticed, I'm desperate to find the right nanny for my two kids''.
''And I am positive you've just found her'' I smiled confidently. I wanted him to hire me.
''I like your attitude'' he spoke before he continued asking me questions about what I do and why I wanted the job.
Jeffrey showed me pictures of his kids, told me things about them that I had to know such as their curfew, allergies and so on. He liked me, and we decided I work from 5 pm to 10 pm, sometimes a bit longer depending on when he'd get off work. He told that he'd appreciate if sometimes, even if he'd come home earlier, I stayed until 10 pm anyway, to help him, which I was okay with. He had a very busy work schedule and sometimes didn't know when he got home. I was going to get paid more for every extra hour and the weekend.
*Present time*
We never really talked about me doing something else in the house besides taking care of the kids, making food for them and cleaning after them. Today I decided to make dinner for Jeffrey without knowing how he would react. Every single evening for the past two weeks that I'd been working there, he'd come home exhausted and unable to cook dinner, always with fast food in his hands. I wanted to be nice and wait for him with a warm, home cooked meal the way my mother taught me to make.
During my first days we didn't really talk about anything else but how George and Gus, who actually adored me, were doing. Then, after a while, he'd ask me to sit with him or shared his fries with me and we'd get to talk about life. I got to know a lot about his ugly divorce, about how sad he was that he didn't get to spend enough time with his children, about life in general. He got to know about my studies, my family, my love for dolphins and photography. It made me happy, because he seemed like he needed a friend.
There was, however, a problem. I was starting to get butterflies every time I'd see him in the evening. I would quickly fix my hair and face every time I'd hear the door open. I'd smile like a stupid teenager every time he'd look at me. Why? Well, fucking guess. Stupid ass me was probably starting to have feelings for him.
''Hello'' I heard Jeffrey from the hallway, taking me by surprise; I never heard him come in. Luckily, dinner was 5 minutes away from being done. ''Woah, it hasn't smelled this good in this house in ages'' he smiled in surprise as he entered the kitchen.
''Surprise'' I said softly, not wanting to exaggerate. I also didn't want to wake the kids up. ''I thought it would be nice for you to eat some warm, home cooked meal'' my smile grew bigger as I looked at him, though I was quite nervous inside, not knowing how he'd react.
''You...'' he approached me. ''You did that for me?'' he pointed at the food and then at himself. I nodded my head before he took off his glasses, a small expression of positive surprise and shock on his face. ''Natasha, that's so sweet''.

''Hungry? I made baked chicken with spinach stuffing and mashed potatoes'' I smiled proudly.
''That sounds absolutely fantastic. You're amazing, thank you so much, Nat'' he took a step towards me and wrapped his arms around me without warning. We'd never hugged and I was taken by surprise, but a very pleasant one. Even after a long day at work he smelled so attractively good. The warmth of his body made me feel like home and for a second it worried me that I felt like that towards my...boss. I mean, yeah, we were almost like friends but he was still my boss. ''Have you eaten?'' he asked after breaking the hug. I shook my head and he took two plates out of a cabinet, two glasses and napkins. ''Then you're joining me'' he winked.
''I'd love to'' I smiled, happy about his reaction.
''Red or white wine?'' he held a bottle of wine in each hand.
''Uhm, I gotta get home too, you know'' I laughed.
''It's Friday, you can sleep here if you don't have any plans tomorrow''.
I thought about it for a second. Was it weird to be sleeping over? It was him who suggested it so why would it be weird? It was for my own safety because I was really in the mood for some wine. ''Uhm, I guess I could do that, yeah. I'll take white wine''.
