Tired of It All

Chapter 12: Movie Night

The light of day was finally burning out. Before hand, Itachi Insisted that he bring his Tv as a spare for entertainment, he had enough money and no one would notice it missing. 

Naruto and Itachi were getting ready, the blonde started to get snacks while the raven started putting down a palatte. He tore apart the couch, the two big cushions down as pillows, a sheet for underneith and his blanket. Itachi was aware they were sharing the blanket, once again sleeping together.

This thought alone almost put a smirk to his face. The dobe walked over with a bowl in each hand; one with popcorn another with different kinds of candies, then two bottles of soda between his arm and rib cage. A big smile on his face, he put the stuff down on the floor and looked through the movies

"Ayyee! ITAA! They're all scary movies!" His lips formed a pout like state as he turned to the taller boy who gave a weak shrug.

Low mumbles of curses escaped Naruto's breath as he put one of the movies in. He sat back in the pile of pillows and blankets next to Itachi who already had the bowl full of candy in his lap. The blonde snuggled up in the blankets while Itachi sat over them, his weight made it difficult to to get under, so after a few tug and pulls, since Itachi wasn't willing to budge, Naruto was finally able to get comfortable.

The first movie was a cheesy, comedy, horror. The plot was horrible, but it was so stupid Naruto wanted to continue watching, and of course Itachi didn't mind. They got through two movies before anything was remotely good. The 3rd movie they picked had an actual plot to it, something about a creepy doll killing off everyone with some guys family genes.

The blonde seemed to really get into the movie, he held tightly onto the blanket trying to not jump out of fear. He was easy to scare, Itachi saw his moment, as the climax of the movie arose, he waited for the movie to quiet. Naruto who was entranced in the movie waiting for the big moment of it didn't notice Itachi get closer. Right when a scream came from the TV, Itachi grabbed onto the blondes sides and whispered "Boo!" Causing the poor boy to jerk from his sitting spot as he let out a girlish scream, throwing popcorn all over the place. While the Raven chuckled to himself Naruto launched himself forward in his direction. Pushing his friend over, he attempted to restrain the raven though it didn't work in his favor. Itachi manage to flip them, easily forcing Naruto's hands to the ground. He settled him self straddling the blonde, comfortably sitting on his stomach. Naruto continued to squirm, Itachi didn't appreciate the stuggle. So to get him to stop he simply flicked him in the forehead, this catching the blondes attention.

Naruto stared dead into Itachi's eyes, most the time, he avoided eye contact with the raven, it always gave him an unsettling feeling, not a bad one. Naruto's heart skipped a beat and his breathing slowed as the staring length extened. Then it hit him then, the position they were in, he blushed a little to this and the fact he gave up his relentless struggles from underneith so easily. A pout on his face because of the embaressing defeat he was facing.

"Itaaa, get off of me." The raven stared down, as much as he enjoyed his veiw he did as asked. Getting off and offering the blonde his hand. 

"It seems the movies over, would you like me to put in another?" Itachi was already taking out the ended movie, looking back to his friend for a reply. As he put the CD in its cause an idea popped into Itachi's head, "Naruto, why dont we play a game of questions."

This grabbed his blonde friends attention, the boy now listening Itachi explained how it went. " Its very simple, you ask then I do, they can be questions of any sorts, and must be answered."

When he finished, Naruto agreed. They sat on the floor, facing each other. The blonde held a face of concentration before asking the first question which was simple of course. The start of this game, espacially if played by people who weren't too close of friends, always started of basic and awkward. Most the beginig questions were ones like 'whats your favorite color?' Or something to do with family or school before it got interesting. Now they were getting to the private questions, it was Itachi's turn

"Who have you dated?" It was silent for awhile before Naruto answered "No one actually.." he began his usual habit of playing with his hands.

"Well.. have you dated anyone yet?" Itachi nodded to the question repeated to him. It was true, he dated a few people in his travels, it started off as girls because of normal male tradition, but he soon realized that they never caught his interest, in fact most people didn't but girls did the least. He tried a guy or two before moving here, though both ended cold heartedly because of the raven at least he figured out what he was more attracted too.

"Why did you invite me to stay over?" The question was blunt to the blonde, he wasn't sure how to answer, he didn't want to scare off the raven. He gulped, drying his mouth a little speaking softly

"I.. I was scared.." Naruto expected a ton of questions why, Itachi just gave his usual 'hn' and continued the game "your turn." He told Naruto snapping him out of the confusion his reply gave.

" Where did you actually get that cut?" This made Itachi widen his eyes a little, the blonde made it seem like he believed the lie but it seems not. And in game rules you must answer

"You."

The Blondes eyebrows furrowed, his face was confused

"What do you mean?" Itachi shook his head "It's my turn" this made Naruto growl a little

"Were you scared of what you did?" Narutos confusiononly grew. What did his friend know? How was he going to answer this.. he was starting to dislike this game

"I don't wanna play anymore!" Naruto got up and left for his room.
