Chapter 1| 꿈 (Dream)

"Park Kkum (박 꿈)"

I stopped my train of thoughts, hearing my name to notice that my turn has come. I went to the counter.

"What do you want us to write on the cake?" The lady at the counter asked.

"Congratulations to Jimin and Kkum" I replied.

"Park Jimin?" The lady asked again.

"Yes. But I don't want any surname on the cake" I shrugged.

"Oh okay. By the way happy marriage anniversary" she said.

And I was about to throw up.

"We are not married!" I exclaimed.

"Then he is your boyfriend?" Her eyes beamed.

"Eww no! Don't keep assuming" I was extremely disappointed at her nosy behaviour.

"Just friends?" She guessed again.

"I told you not to assume" I glared at her and she rolled her eyes.

"How dare you?" I was about to have an outburst.

"They are twins and today is their birthday" Taehyung said from beside me suddenly coming and he held me by my shoulder to make me calm.

I shrugged his hand away.

"I'm fine" I said looking at him, still furrowing my eyebrows.

That day was 13th of October and I planned to surprise Jimin with his friends since he always surprised me on my birthdays.

Taehyung was his best friend. So I needed his help on this the most.

"Let's just go, okay? We have other things to prepare as well" Taehyung said patting my head.

"I'm going to sit in the car" I said already losing my cool.

"Why are you in such a bad mood always, angry bird? You look like you are ready to murder anyone anytime. You might explode with this temper" Taehyung said chuckling, coming back in the car with the birthday cake in his hand.

"Then you should be careful too" I said glaring at him.

He laughed while starting to drive and said,

"By the way, your name looks really pretty on the cake. Do you know how lucky you are to have a name of one syllable. They wrote it in hangul (Korean letters)."

"Let me see" I said finally getting happy again.

"Who kept it though?" Taehyung asked me.

"Dad" I replied "Actually my parents only knew about Jimin's birth. The doctors couldn't inform them that they are going to have twins.

Dad wanted a daughter but Jimin was born first. And unexpectedly I was born later. So dad felt that his dream came true by some extraordinary magic. That's why my name is Kkum (꿈) which means dream."

"Wow. Isn't this any movie plot?" Taehyung said dramatically.

"Shut up" I smacked on the back of his head.

We prepared everything for the party but the only problem was to bring Jimin here which was supposed to be done by Hoseok.

"He should be here any minute" Jungkook said and Namjoon turned the lights off.

"Happy birthday to you!" We all sang the birthday song for Jimin.

"What the actual heck?" He said and quickly scanned through the room.
