My ears were hurting. My head seemed as if it could burst any moment.
"Turn that off" I yelled at the top of my lungs as I sat right up.
My eyes shot opened. It was the sound of my alarm. I turned to my side. I took my phone and made that horrible sound stop.
My mouth left hanging open when I saw what time it was. The alarms rang the whole time taking a interval of fifteen minutes. It got snoozed as I never turned it off.
I quickly called Bora and she picked it up.
"You are finally awake," she said, "one of us is still in the hotel. He knows the route. You can come with him. He is in room no. 203. Okay bye."
She hung up. She did not give me one chance to talk. I sighed and got up. I dressed myself in an overall since I wanted to be comfortable.
I went to that person's room and knocked on his door. The door opened.
"Do you know a better and short word for bad luck?" I asked as I saw Jungkook.
His expression showed nothing.
"Come with me," he said.
I was getting into the back seat of his car. I heard Jungkook sighing.
He poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue as he leaned on the car.
"The only thing I am missing is popcorn to enjoy this show. Am I your driver, princess?"
Hearing that I rolled my eyes and sat there. As if his stupid remark was going to stop me from doing that.
He also got inside and started driving.
I fell asleep after a while. But a sudden halting of the car woke me up.
"What happened?" I asked yawning.
Jungkook glanced at me. He blinked and looked away.
"Let me check," he said and got out. I also got out of it being curious.
"The car is broken" Jungkook said after inspection.
"Call a mechanic! Fast!" It was getting frustrating for me.
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows and took his phone out.
I looked around. The place looked like it was a narrow road between literally two jungles.
"There is no network," Jungkook sat on the hood of the engine of the car after closing it.
"You are kidding me, right?" I hovered and he moved back.
"Give me a break, pressure cooker!" he looked down at his phone.
"You are getting me either to the destination or back to the hotel," I firmly said.
Jungkook squinted his eyes.
"Do you think I am happy to be stuck here instead of attending my important business meeting?"
I shrugged and checked my phone in vain. I was right. This place was really a jungle.
I started walking to discover the place to see if I could get any help.
"Wait up!" Jungkook said but I kept walking. He was following me anyway.
As much as I was walking, it was looking more like a forest. Suddenly I felt really annoying that Jungkook was following me.
"Just go and sit in the car," I said to him looking behind.
I was about to turn around again.
"Look out!" Jungkook abruptly grabbed my collar and pulled me.
It made me turn back to him causing me to stumble on his hard chest.
He quickly made me look at him.
"Are you okay?" He was searching for any injury.
I glanced behind and saw a wood sticking out from a tree, which was cut making it sharp in it's end. He was trying to protect me from getting injured by it.
His eyes landed around my neck causing it to widen.
Then it hit me that the way Jungkook pulled my shirt it made the buttons pop out. I was luckily wearing a overall. But the incident exposed my neckline.
"You still have it," Jungkook muttered in a low voice, almost as a whisper.
I looked down being horrified to see my China Rose pendant which Jungkook gifted to me five years ago.
I quickly tried to cover it. But he took both of my hands in his one hand and pulled me close.
His eyes looked troubled. He started to say something but stopped. I was looking into his eyes. I was eager to know what he wanted to say.
"Why are you still wearing it?"
"It was nice and expensive," I said looking elsewhere.
"Look at me," he said, "It's not the reason. You know it as well."
My eyes stung. I was about to cry again.
"Park Kkum!" he called me but I could not bring myself to look at him,
"Do you really love me?"
I bit my lips to control myself from breaking down.
"It's too embarrassing. Just let me go!" I struggled to make myself free from him.
"Is it still embarrassing after knowing that I loved you my entire life?"
I looked at him bewildered.
"Lie!" I muttered.
"Why do you think so?" Jungkook's eyes softened. He let me go as if he was really hurt by what I said.
"If you had actually loved me, you would have never left me alone when I needed you the most!" I was broken already.
Jungkook looked pained.
He spoke after a while,
"It was because you and Taehyung were-"
"It was because of Taehyung?" I was shocked.
"In high school when I saw you both together-"
I slapped him on his face.
"Shame on you!" I left him standing like that and came back to sit beside the car.
I had never been so hurt. How could my best friend leave me just because I was in a relationship, just because he could not get me romantically even before actually confessing?
I had never thought that Jungkook could be so selfish. I had known that he has some reason to not talk to me. Any reason would have been better than this.
Jungkook sat down in a distance from me. I did not even want to look at him at that time. It made me angry that I even fell for him. I hoped for the day to end as quickly as possible.

Vote for the chapter please.
Hey! Finally Jungkook believes in Kkum's feelings.
But let me tell you that Jungkook's reason is still not clear to Kkum. Jungkook actually left her so that his feelings didn't bother Taehyung and Kkum's relationship. But Kkum doesn't know that yet.
Also get used to these quick updates. It's gonna happen a lot from now on!
