Chapter 1 (Nick POV)

I was born for one sole purpose. As far as I can remember I have been anticipating this very day, my very existence made for this day. Today I will finally find out why I have been training my whole life.

Today.

Today, I was smothered in the back of mini bus. Stained black tinted windows, the smell of damp fabric and dust, this is definitely not what I expected this day to begin with, lets just say I kind of expected the transportation to be a bit more luxurious. Besides that, this is it, beyond this long bumpy road awaited my one true purpose! I was fortunate enough to have been born with a goal, I almost pity those who live meaningless lives pacing around sucking their thumb all day. I am important. I am significant. Location 2, I travelled all the way from Dallas to the Cornwall in the UK and I can almost feel my guts twisting and turning like they're in a blender. I guess you can say I'm also very excited to meet my acquaintances since I have been in touch with them through out my training. I am positive I will become part of team A on the PC squad, but part of me wonders if that's even a good thing, don't get me wrong, I'd love to work with the Red scale victims but it will be a extremely life threatening position. Even so no matter what happens, I will make sure I go beyond everyone's expectations.

The trip has taken hours and yet I still haven't even gotten a word from the driver of when we arrive, the least I can do now is attempt to message one particular acquaintance to see if they made it to Location 2 yet, after all, they already lived in the UK so I wouldn't be surprised if they got there hours ago.

I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, the only one that I really got on well with in the PC squad was George, honestly I'm completely over moon to finally get to meet George in person, other than the let down transportation this day is starting to seem so surreal. I suppose it couldn't hurt to read over the papers we were given.

I already predict that I'll never be able to remember all I'd these names, but one thing that as me on edge is the victims code names, such as Dream, the name is so simply yet it puts me on edge. Red class victims are truly something.

I remember the sudden spark of anxiety and excitement as smooth road suddenly became a thousand rocks thumbling beneath the wheels of the mini bus and the engine suddenly stutters itself to sleep.
