"Clay?"

George was confused.

There was a sudden moment of silence, George's eyes latched onto Clay's back as he stood inside the place where he found him, the metal container.

All of a sudden, Clay lifted his hand to his fast swiftly and yanked whatever was on his face off, he gave choked cry of pain as he threw the object in the bucket, he didn't realise it would hurt so much.

George was extremely curious of the object, as for now though his heart throbbed at the noise Clay made.

He was frozen, he didn't know what to do, but all it took was seeing the heaps of blood gushing out of Clay's right eye to get him to quickly rush over to Clay's side.

"C-clay- what happened- why are you out so late- come on let's get you back-"

As much as George's brain was bombarded with questions, Clay's wellbeing came first. He only knew him for a day but, Clay has been through too much so far.

All Clay could do was let out a grunt in agreement as he held his right eye for dear life, the overwhelming pain forced Clay to put so much effort not to break into tears.

In a matter of fact, it wasn't just the pain that made him want to sob his eyes out.

He bit his lip as George helped him get to the nearest first aid.

=======================
[ERET POV]

Even though we are below the surface, the morning still felt almost refreshing. It was- hard to explain alright?

Never mind that, I had one thought on my mind throughout that dreadful night.

Green class facility.

I am quite positive our missing masterpiece resides inside those walls.

I just wanted to go alone.

I wonder if those low life green mongrels are dead yet?

That's beside the point.
I got up from my bed, made myself presentable, I made haste to get towards the facility.

First thing I noticed upon arrivals I shut the large steel door behind me, a copper stench that filled my nose made my mouth taste distasteful.

Blood. Blood on the ground too, a dribbling trail that shooed down the eerie corridor. Overhead there was a hanging sign that read 'LIVING SPACES' in large, bold letters.

There just wasn't enough blood that it was a massacre sadly, more like a fatal- actually, not even fatal injury of sorts. Whoever owns this blood is probably alive.

Well, there really isn't much time to waste before that oddly fashioned swine 'sapnap' wobbles his way down here, he doesn't shut out about that George kid, it's infuriating to a degree. I managed to get him to sleep it off and come down today, but im not even sure if Wilbur or Skeppy came and looked around.

Those pathetic wastes of space better keep to themselves.

It all came to a door, the blood was more smeared here like it was walked on a phew times.

I softly tapped my knuckles on the door, and in a matter of seconds the door open and I was greeted with, quite frankly, a less familiar face then I expected.

Wispy brunette, he looked pale and frantic, fidgeting in his place. He had tired sunken eyes and he smiled weakly, clearly forced.

Rough night too huh?

I clear my throat I tried to make myself not sound rude to this boy.

"Uh- Tubbo, all is well I suspect?"

His reaction to my voice was almost concerning, he looked fidgety and somewhat afraid.

Tubbo pretended to beam with a grin
"Eret! How, unexpected of you to visit."

Tubbos voice was even scaring me, might I add, that's a lot coming from me.
"The trail of blood concerned me, it had quite a stench could you not agree?"
I explained

Tubbo let out a hoarse laugh.
"Oh haha, don't worry about that, George just cut his arm on the edge of a storage crate."
Tubbo lied convincingly

I gently nodded my head lightly, we just stared at each other for a moment so I resorted to asking about his appearance, but he got a statement out first.

Tubbos voice croaked as he spoke
"Eret, listen I think. I think I have something to tell you-"

I could only smile at myself.

"One of the green class..."
Tubbos face twisted as he took a deep breath and continued
"One of them, Mr Schlatt-"

I cut him off.

"Listen, boy, whatever it is you are about to announce to me, please refrain from using nicknames and refer to him as codename 'jschlatt'."

Tubbo franticly nodded and clenched his fist.
"He doesn't belong here Eret, n-not in green ward"

I could feel a fit of laughter bubbling up in my stomach, this kid is ridiculous, one weak subject and look at him! He doesn't get half as much stress as everyone above his pathetic rank!
I remain professional though, only letting a smile and a gentle chuckle escape my lips.

He continued
"He's dangerous..he.."

My grin became fierce.
"You truly are just- worthless, you have one job, and an easy one at that- stop being pathetic."

Tubbos face seemed to melt away anguish. He stumbled back and looked at me.
"Ah, your right, I apologise."

Then he just smiled at me.

I felt a grip in my chest.
