Skeppy sat crosslegged on floor, his eyes fix at the corner of his dorm.

Wilbur sat not far from him, his face was drained and pale.
They both on the moment glanced at each other slowly.

"It finally stopped.."
Skeppy sighed

Wilbur shuffled nervously in his seat.
"That Eret is a sick bastard."

Skeppy reached his hand to his neck, goosebumps were sprawled all over it.
"So I'm guessing they found the missing subject."

"Sounds like it", Wilbur replied

The night felt stale. The two boys had heard the noises distantly bounce off the walls, they couldn't sleep.

Skeppy was most disturbed, for one thing he knew that wilbur didn't.

Eret went by amber ward while it was happening.
Skeppy had left to try escape the noises earlier on in the night, and encountered Eret on the hallway to green.

No words were exchanged, just silent glances.

Skeppy spoke up.
"Wilbur, what if... imagine hypothetically that... it wasn't Eret."

Wilbur gave him a confused glance

"Well that would mean two things, that the screams were of self inflicted pain or just screaming for no reason...or.."

The both boys sat there.

"But it wouldnt be sapnap."
Wilbur input firmly.

Skeppy nodded gently. He felt a little more at ease.
"But what if... that screams were the subject that escaped...killing someone?"

Skeppy started scaring himself.

"That's why its safer to stay here."

"Well Eret seemed alright so it's probably nothing, but hes kinda hard to read, ya get me-",
Skeppys eyes widen as he realised what he said.

Wilbur looked at him swiftly
"Eret? When did you meet Eret during the noises?"

Wilbur felt a squeeze in his guts.

Skeppy ran his hands through his thick dark hair.

The rest of the night was quiet.

Sapnap woke up in the morning feeling withdrawn. The sleep clung with him even after a cold shower and hot breakfast.

The clock read 6:59am.
Still quite early, we work at 8.

After what he did, he didnt feel good.

It didnt satisfy him.

It didnt help.

He just felt miserable.

His mind clawed back to when he first met Dream, he was a nice guy. He was certain they'd become good friends.

Did he deserve it?
Sapnap ran his fingers through his hair, elbows pressed heavily on the table, propping his head up.

Eret walked in, holding a steaming mug in his hand.
"Is something the matter?"

Sapnap looked up, he didnt even want to show his face. He ended up staring at him briefly before burying his face in his palms again.

"Rough night.",
Eret said bitterly

Those words dug into sapnap like rusty blades.

"How is he?"
Sapnaps voice croaked gently.

Eret sat down at the opposite end of the table.
"Do you even care?"

"yeah."

Eret sighed.
"He has recovered mostly, still in pain of course. He will be fine"

Sapnap nodded slightly.

Eret continued
"I could hear your temper tantrum from amber. I also want to inform Skeppy saw me. They know it was you."

Sapnap felt terrible.
"Did green hear?"

Eret shook his head promptly.

Sapnap lifted his head up softly

"I'm sorry..", he felt like crying

Eret furrowed his eyebrows
"Personally, I do not believe that victims are equal to us, they're merely animals. But am I really the one to apolgise to? I honestly do not care for actions."

Sapnap stood up swiftly and flung on his white working jacket.

Eret gave a confused head tilt.
"Going somewhere?"

Sapnap had one foot out the door when he turned and replied.
"I'll be back shortly"

Eret shrugged and sat back, drinking his coffee.

Sapnap made haste towards dreams enclosure, when he got there, it was definitely not a sight for sore eyes.

He was curled into a ball, corner if the room. His clothes matted with blood, as was the walls and the floor. So much blood. Any normal human would be dead long ago.

This time, dream had his mask on. Bit he could still see the blood drawn bite marks on his lower lip.

Sapnap opened the noise tunnel.

"Dream."

No response.

"Dream I- I..."

He cant believe he was apologising to a victim, getting the words out was difficult.

"I'm sorry.", he spat out.

There was no movement, no noise, no nothing coming from dream.

Sapnap continued
"Sorry mean...means nothing...but..I dont know what came over me."

"I wanted to say...that- that's all, Clay"

Dream seemed to shift in his position as he said that name.

"If that's even your name...", Sapnap said miserably.

Sapnap sighed weakly.

"I know your just a monster that pretends to have feeling but could you atleast pretend to care-"

Dream perked a little.

"Why should I care? You gonna stab me again for not making you feel better? Go to fucking hell."

Sapnap stared at him for what felt like forever. What would George think of him if he knew what he did?
For all George knows, hes human.

That's it.

If george knows hes Dream, he won't get upset.

Bingo
