Author's Note:
Hi! I am currently editing the chapters before I continue adding some parts. So, yeah. I suggest don't read it yet. Hehe.
Noise : CHAPTER ONE
I fought back his stare. A man was standing in front of me having these black clothing covering mostly of his skin---I'm not really sure if this person is a she or a he but I assumed that it is a he due to the built of the body.
He's tall and his eyes can throw knives. By the way he was staring at me, it made me shiver. The furs in my body rose up. He looked like he was reading the insides of me. He looked like he was looking at the windows to see the inside of someone's home. He was really looking at me intently. He didn't blink even just a second.
Who is this weird---creepy man?
I chose to fight back to look strong, not scared at all.
Moments have passed, we were still staring at each other. When will this staring contest end? Is this even going to end?
I sighed heavily before gathering up all my courage to speak.
"What do you want?"
I felt proud of myself after uttering those words. I am brave! I am brave! I am not weak!
He didn't answer my question that made my eyebrows aligned. It made me pissed. I again, sighed heavily.
"Again, I am asking you, what do you want?" I repeated myself having these irritated tone in my voice.
He then---chuckled. Really, huh? Is that all what he can do aside from covering himself up?
"If you're not going to answer my question, I'm going to walk away from here. Ugh! Why am I even talking to a strange, creepy stranger?"
I looked like I was a woman that was lost in her mind. It's as if I was talking to a statue, only, mannequin perhaps.
"Okay, I'm going home now," I said when I still didn't get any response from him.
I have just turned my back on him and took a step forward, about to walk away from him, when he held my wrist, making me turn to face him, again.
"Still low tempered, huh?" he said sounding so amused.
My legs trembled upon hearing his voice. It sounded so familiar but I can't really assume. It was deep and a little husky. It sounded a bit unnatural, like---he was trying to hide his real voice. The person was indeed, a he.
Who is he, really? Could it be? Imposible! Don't get your hopes high, Starfall! It might give you a rough landing.
"E-excuse me? Do I know you?"
I almost didn't manage to speak up. My heart was really pounding loudly and fast. I raised a brow on him. Maybe he's going to be silent, again.
I heard him chuckle again. Oh, chuckling is his hobby? I guess?
"I don't know if you do know me, but one thing is for sure, I know you very well, Starfall."
My mouth formed an 'O' with his answer. Really, huh? How come?
"Oh, really? Impossible. How can you be so sure?"
He shook his head and took a step forward that made us really close to each other. He bended just to get near my eyes. It made me realize how short I was. Am I really short or he's just really tall? Oh, come on! It's the latter, Starfall!
