my phone is blowing up with texts from dixie and griffin and i start to read them. i look at them and start to try and wake up jaden so i slap him like anthony did to him when i was in the hospital and it always works "we need to go to the hospital now, and so should holden" i say in a alarming tone and he looks at me scared "jace got into a car accident, drunk driver apparently" i say and jaden nods while going to get dressed and i run down the hallway to find holden so i look in his room and ava is lying on his bed using her phone "can you comfort holden today?" i ask and she nods "of course, what happened?" she asks in a concerned tone "jace got into a car crash" i say sorta loud and i see holden standing there in complete disbelief and a tear falls from his eyes "holden... we need to go to the hospital now, your sister is still at kaylies right?" i ask and he shakes his head no "she's on the couch sleeping with savanna and kaylie" he says then a furious look comes over his face "what if kaylie bought them here and got into the crash?" he says angrily and i shake my head "the car would have damage, the crash was very bad" i say and a worried look comes onto his face "get dressed and be downstairs, me and your dad will be down in a second" i say as i go back into my room and quickly get changed.

"you wasted time picking a nice outfit mom" holden says as he rolls his eyes and i was going to yell at him but i understand what he was going through so i grabbed the keys and i drove ava and holden to the hospital, jaden went to grab clothes for dixie and griffin since they have been at the hospital all night. we get there and my phone goes off and it was a text from hadley 'how did i get home?' she texted and i look at my alarmed and i text jaden to check up on hadley and the girls to see what happened after the party.

- hadley's pov -
i woke up wondering how the hell i got home, after a while savanna wakes up with a raging headache and i grab her some water, advil, and water. then dad burst through the door and runs up to me and starts feeling my face and then he brings me into a hug "okay what are you on" i say after he stops hugging me "jace is in the hospital" he says and my knees buckle and i fall to the ground and drop the glass as i fall to the ground. it smashes as i reach the ground and the pieces fly everywhere and dad blocks my face with a wet towel before any come towards me "hadl—!" he starts but stops as he sees my face "what happened?" i hear kaylie say alarmed and i still don't move and continue crying "i'm going take them home, they're too hungover to function right now" i say to dad as i clean up the glass and throw it away. i head upstairs and quickly get changed into something comfy.

i finish getting ready and run downstairs and my dad is grabbing all the hangover essentials and helping the girls to the car and i lightly chuckle but start to cry again. jace wasn't just holden's best friend, he was one of mine too and was or is my crush... i don't really know yet. my dad hands me clothes as i get into my car "give these to dixie and griffin, they need clean clothes" he says as he heads out of the driveway and i nod while getting out of park and following him out of the driveway. as i wave to kaylie and turn the other direction something feels wrong and i don't know what though. as i get to the hospital and start walking towards the emergency entrance i collapse and everything goes black. as i wake up i hear sirens and the flashing hospital lights "we're losing her" a woman says "get a crash cart" a male says and i try to open my mouth and speak but nothing comes out "hadley!" my mother shrieks "hadley?" holden questions loudly and i hear them become further and further away "clear" someone screams and a feel a current of electricity fly threw my body but nothing changes "charge" they yell again "clear" they yell again and another comes straight through my eyes to start to open back up and i sit straight up "what happened" i say "you were found outside on the ground, not breathing dear" a nurse says and i nod "wait was i dead?" i ask "almost" the doctor says "why do you think you collapsed?" the male doctor asks "i ended up feeling really tired after i had a white claw last night that i guy last night but i only had a sip or two before my friend hit it out of my hand" i say and he nods "i also felt like i drank a lot last night even though i had a sip and then i crashed and ended up getting home and not remembering but it could've been my friends mom" i say and the doctor nods and he whispers to the nurse next to him "sweetie we are going to take you upstairs and i'm going to take a look at you" she says and i nod and she grabs a wheelchair and i sit in it and she takes me up the elevator and my mom runs over to the elevator before it closes "hadley" she says as she feels my face like dad "what happened" she asks the nurse "we found her collapsed outside ma'am and now i'm going to check up on her but it will have to be privately" she says and my mom nods as she stays in the elevator and me and nurse leave the elevator and walk into a private exam room. "so dear i'm sorry to inform you tha-.." she says
