- hadley's pov -

"so dear i'm sorry to inform you that you were given a date rape drug" she says and my eyes go wide "so if you want to possibly press charges against whoever might have done this, we need to examine you" she says and i slowly nod my head "can i talk to my mom first" i ask and she nods while walking out of the room and she closes the door and i check my phone to see if i got any pictures that could've told me anything from last night and they all look pretty normal until i reached one of them. someone else definitely took it and it was a picture of me kissing a random stranger but i felt as if i've seen him before. seconds later, my mom comes bathing into the room and looks like she is about to scream but stops and gives me a huge hug, "did she already tell you?" i ask and she shakes her head "oh, someone put a rape date drug in my drink, last night" i say while wiping a tear from my eye. "it's all my fault, how could i just take a drink from a guy" i say while starting to ball my eyes out "none of this is your fault" she says as she rubs my back "we will find out who did this to you and they will get punished" she says as she plays with my hair and i laugh a little. "what happened to jace?" i asked sadly as an angry holden walks through the door "you did it to him, didn't you?" holden says angerily "what are you talking about" i say confused "you killed jace" he says as a tear falls down his face "he isn't dead" i say as i start to cry "and i didn't do it holden, maybe don't be an asshole" i say "he isn't, i just wanted to see your reaction" he says smuggly and i shove him "wow trying to make me have more trauma today" i say and he goes wide eyed "what happened earlier?" he asks concerned "i was given a date rape drug asshole and than i passed out in the parking lot" i say as i flip him off and sit on the bed "get out holden" i yell loudly which causes the nurse to come running in "what's wrong dear?" she says kindly "can you get him out of here" i ask and she nods and holden slowly follows her out "hadley.. you shouldn't have done that" mom says and i shrug "he was being an asshole, so i'll act like one back" i say as i play with my rings "go back downstairs so i can be examined" i say and she slowly nods as she gets up from her chair and comes to hug me and a slightly hug her back. as she walks out the room, the nurse comes back and i feel scared yet comfortable somehow. i start to strip so they can examine me and i feel very violated as they poke and prod at me with their various medical tools and supplies. they give me some medication as they finish the examination and i'm unsure what it could do but i grab it and getting changed back into my clothes and apparently they will have results soon and they will call me when they get them. as i finish getting changed, my phone goes off kaylie and i ignore it and head to jace and when i get into the room everyone leaves me in their with jace and his eyes open up. "hadley" he says excitedly "jace?" i ask and he slightly nods "how are you?" i ask and he laughs "i'm fine" he says with a smug look on his face "i would punch you arm but it looks like it's broken" i say while pointing at his broken arm and he nods while laughing a bit. "why did they all leave when i got in here?" i ask "i asked to talk to you" he says and i nod while sitting in the chair that dixie was sitting in which was right next to the hospital bed. i grab his hand and kiss it "what's up?" i ask "i really really like you hadley" he says and i look at him in disbelief "i like you too but i also like kaylie" i say while biting my nails out of nervousness "let us both take you on a date and you just date which ever one went better" he says and i nod "but will it ruin our relationship if i pick her" i ask and he shakes his head no "i'll respect your decision no matter what" he says and i nod "okay" i say and he holds my hand "you guys can come back in" i say as i take a quick glance at my phone and it's blown up with texts from kaylie and savanna. 'i talked to my dad, he brought us home' one from kaylie read 'why the hell am i at your house? what happened last night' savanna text read and i quietly chuckle 'where are you?' another text from kaylie said and i decided to reply to both of them with the same basic response 'i'm at the hospital' i typed and sent. i gripped onto jace's hand as i got up from the chair "fuck" jace says and i bite my lip as butterflies fill my stomach and my face starts to get red "oops sorry jace" i say as i move to the other chair which was right next to holden "done being a raging bitch" he asks and i flip him off "only if your done being a dick" i say in an annoyed tone and i hear jace laugh "shut the fuck up jace" holden says and i laugh "whatever bro, don't treat her like shit" jace says and he reaches for my hand again and i gladly hold it "haha he's on my side" i say as i point in holden's face "only because he wants to date you" he says and i flip him off "i would be on her side either way" jace says and i giggle and kiss his cheek "loser" i say and ava laughs as she comes in the room and i put a 'L' on my forehead and ava does the same. "imagine having both your bestfriend and your girlfriend, love you more." i say and he flips me off as ava giggles along.
