-Katrina's POV-

I couldn't believe we had survived our Battle against The End of Time! Certainly I was surprised that it worked like that considering one of us was supposed to go home at the end of it. But we were safe and I was immensly happy for it.

Although I wouldn't ever admit to it, I was a morning person. It was 6:30 a.m. and I was outside walking in the cool spring rainstorm. None of the other girls were awake so I took no shame in wearing Thorne's dark purple and black raincoat, Hayden's medium blue 'The Fault in Our Stars' hoodie, Bex's pink pair of shorts as well Thistle's sparkly blue rain boots. The rain started soaking into my hair I'd dyed black half an hour before. I enjoyed my walks that I tried to take every day. As soon as I was a good two kilometres from home, it started raining cats and dogs.

"Perfect," muttered to myself as I turned the corner. My pace picked up as I tried to find somewhere to get out of the pouring rain. Soon enough I stood in front of a little coffee shop. After opening the door, I went to buy a black coffee then staked my claim on a table, removing the raincoat and shaking the water droplets off of it. "Stupid rain, making me look like a drowned rat," I mumbled grumpily.

The chair across from me scraped back and I looked up to see Phoenix sitting across from me, a hot drink in his hands. My eyebrow arched and I looked at him curiously, my facial expression asking why he dared bother me. Soon enough we got talking about music, which was awesome. I looked out the window to see the rain had let up enough that I could walk home so I pulled on Thorne's raincoat again and ran home so that people wouldn't see me wearing their clothes.
